my iphone 4 has no sound when on im on a call. I can hear people, but they cant hear me I have no water damage, all the other sounds work, and im constantly losing service....
There is no sound when you answer or call out but there is sound for everything else. Not sure what else to try to get it working again, did a hard reset on it s few time but now thats not even working to fix the problem.
I can hear the music, ringtone... on my iphone 4, but unfortunately when somebody calls me this person hears me but I don't hear the caller. Same thing when I call, the person I call hears me, but I don't hear the ringtone or the voice of the person I try to call.
I have no sound when receiving a call through the earpiece. The caller can hear me and the bottom speakers work fine. I can only hear when using headphones or speaker mode. Have tried restarting, tapping the earphone speaker, blowing into it..
I currently purchased an Iphone 6 and the only problem that I'm currently having is that after being on the phone for a while the person can no longer hear me or I sound muffle to them. I can hear them perfectly fine without a problem.
I've had my iPhone 5 for about 6 months and its worked fine but the last few weeks the call sound has been really quiet. I can barely hear what the other person is saying. The sound plays fine for everything else though like music, ringtones, alarms etc. It definitely hasn't got the protective film on it still it doesn't have a screen protector on it either and the sound bar is up to the highest volume possible
My iphone 4 has been dropping calls from my office for the last 3 weeks. I have a signal booster and the signal always shows 4 or 5 bars, even when it drops the call. No one else has this issue and my provider has told me that both towers in the area are working good. When it drops the signal often i will hear a noise that sounds like the camera shutter (click) then it kicks me out to the lock screen.
I just got the 5s and when placing or receiving a call, the sound is very low. I can barley hear the person on the other end. if I switch it to the speaker I have no problems hearing them. All other sounds, music and tones play fine and I've checked the volume button on the side and the sounds button under settings, everything is turned up to high. Is there any other place on the phone or settings to go to?
I have synced and restored my phone but the sound is still not happening! It rings ok but when I answer I hear nothing also the keyboard clicks have gone. I have checked the ringer volume but still nothing.
I make/recieve a call and I can hear the other person fine but they can't hear me.I have done this:"- Ok Google detection from any screen (Go to your App drawer -> Google Settings -> Seach & Now -> Voice -> "OK Google" detection -> disable "From any screen")- Call recording apps (Disable or unistall if you have any)." (Do not have recording apps from a third party)without any progress. Some app is probably using the mic during the phonecall. But how do i determine which one it is?This is getting out of hand. Can't go through the day without this happening very often.
When on call i do not get any sound alerting me a text came or alarm is off or so on.. I see it in on top when i look at the phone but if i see it only at the end of the call when i look at the phone.
Is there a way to have it make a sound during the call (like a beep noise or something like that) so i can know when something is up while i'm on a call?
i've had my blackberry bold 9700 since 2010. i've been updating it etc to make it work better.. the past few days i've been making calls or recieving calls and the person on the other end when they talk sounds robotic. this has never happened before, and i am also not receiving some phone calls.. or text messages. last night i was trying to phone another cell phone and it would pause and then ring once then go straight to voicemail. when that person tried to call me it kept saying emergency contact. i also never recieved their text messages. i use to lose reception all the time until i updated the software so that works fine now. i am just concerned about this new problem with my phone because its nearly impossible to place outgoing phone calls and incoming phone calls as well.
I have multiple issues with my Blackberry strom 2 9550.1) I get crackling noise most of the time when i am on call but works fine in the the loudspeaker and headphones. When i reboot the mobile the problem is resolved for somedays.2) Sometimes my phone wont have any sound output at all, all by itself. While trying to play the songs from media, i get the msg error occured while playing the media.
there is a setting somewhere on the phone ( Desire ) that turns off the notification sound ( text , email , etc ) whilst a call is being made , on other phones ive had the phone would just vibrate during a call if you received a text message but not this one.
I'm on my 3rd new Torch & this latest one rattles when I'm on a phone call. It sounds like when someone has the volume too high & the person on the other end is shouting but I don't have the volume very high at all & can still hear the noise. It doesn't sound this way on speakerphone, only when I hold the phone to my ear.

Am I really hearing some not so good quality here. Its just that I am having trouble understanding the one whom I am speaking to. I hear the sound as if my phone speaker is covered with a pillow.
I would like to know whether there is any way to get miscalls notification with sound. I know that the LED will blink to keep me notified but I need a notification tone. I will explain what I need. When I have a missed call on my phone I should be notified with a notification tone at specific intervals till I attend to the notification. Is there any default way on Xperia to do this or is there any software available for this.
Perhaps stupid but in android 1.6 together with the wifi and gps there was a icon to select the sound on/off/vibration know after update to 2.1 i can't find a fast way to change de sound to off or vibration execpt via the setting menu. Is there a widget or perhaps a link so you can put it on one of the screens.
when I am on a call I am not getting a vibration or a sound to let me know a text message has come in on my LG G3 on Lollipop. This is something I am certain it did before. It's not happening with regular texts or on WhatsApp.I have been messing around in the new Sounds & Notifications (which is super confusing) and I just can't seem to make it happen,
My wife rang me yesterday. The answer screen lit up, but there was no ringing sound. I noticed that the icon for 'sound off' was showing at the top. I answered, we spoke and she rang off. The icon changed to 'sound on'!
I have tested this. I watch my phone and ring myself using other phones. As soon as the screen lights up with an incoming call the 'sound-off' icon appears and the phone does not ring. I can still accept the call and have a conversation. When I hang up, the icon returns to 'sound-on'.
I've cracked it. I have an app called Extreme Call Blocker which has just had an update. It appears that this was causing the problem. I turned off the app and Z2 rang perfectly.
