I currently purchased an Iphone 6 and the only problem that I'm currently having is that after being on the phone for a while the person can no longer hear me or I sound muffle to them. I can hear them perfectly fine without a problem.

Now, just this evening I got two calls when I didn't have my headset on and both times I had bad sound quality from the phone itself. It was muffled, almost like a thin sheet was over the speaker and vibrating against it. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

View 14 Replies View RelatedMy wife and I bought a pair of RAZR M phones three days ago, and right from the beginning, soung quality was pretty poor. It doesn't seem to be a problem calling voicemail, I can hear the machine just fine, but on all voice calls, I sound very muffled, and have a hard time hearing the other person. I tried holding the phone in every conceivable way which made little difference. This is especially bad when my wife and I call each other. I went to the Verizon store (not where I bought it), and they denied there was any problem and sent me away. I am running Android Jellybean (4.1.1). On my old Sprint phone, this was never an issue, but background noise was horrible. With the RAZR M, there is no background noise, but no clarity either.

This is my first iPhone, and I don't usually make or receive a lot of calls, (I communicate much more with texts.) I received 2 calls recently and it was almost impossible to hear the other person. I tried hitting the + on the side, but it didn't seem to affect the sound volume. Is there something I am missing in the settings, or something else I am missing? I don't use any type of headset/headphones, as those are prohibited at work. I will say I have a Belkin case on the phone, so it's possible I may not have been hitting the volume controls like I thought. I just wondered if there was something I was missing elsewhere. I am hoping this is just operator error and nothing wrong with the phone.

I tried swapping across to loud speaker but it still didn't work! I sent it off for repair and had the part of the phone with the microphone speaker replaced. Its come back and still does it! My brother said it was possibly the latest update as it was roughly around then that it went but I'm not sure!

This is not happening always but often I am facing the issue. And during important meetings I am loosing track of the conversation in between as I need to disconnect and connect to the meeting again.
