Apr 26, 2010Anyone try a blackberry holster/clip case? If so, anyone know which one would fit properly? I find that they make the nicest and most durable case at reasonable price.

Motorola Droid Razr :: Holster Without Case
Dec 6, 2011Bought the "official" holster and case combination at a Verizon store, but returned it almost immediately because I didn't like the way the case bulked up my phone. Has anyone found a holster on the market that's easy to use and doesn't require a case?

Mar 17, 2012I've just got a 9360 and it won't recognise the holster I have. I have tried the phone in various other holsters and it won't recognise any of them. Help, I used to love the fact my old Curve recognised the holster and switched to sleep mode and reserved battery life etc. Is there a setting within the phone I have to switch on?

Jul 27, 2010My boss has a BB Curve 8530 and she wants to set it up to vibrate only in holster and ring outside of holster. Is this an option I can set up in Profiles? If so, do i have to adjust this option for every sound (i.e. MMS, e-mail, alerts, etc)?Or there an easy way to adjust these settings? I'm not very familiar with the BBs so please be gentle.

Apr 6, 2011I recently switched from a Bold 9000 to a new Torch 9800 with the new OS 6.0. On my Bold I could set one ringtone for In Holster @ one volume and a different ringtone @ a different volume for Out Of Holster within the same profile. So far this seems impossible with the new operating system. Seems I can only set one ringtone and one vibrate for each profile. Am I missing something?

May 10, 2010I recently downloaded the new update for my Blackberry Tour, and I have noticed that my phone is not remembering its settings (im assuming). When I have my phone holstered, it only vibrates twice and does not ring (though I have it set to Always for the ringtone) for my MMS/SMS messages. When its out of holster, it will only do the default text messing sound. I am not sure how to fix this though I have rebooted it twice in attempts for the settings.

Apr 9, 2010After recently buying a new Milestone outright I'm looking to protect the hell out of it. I currently have purchased a hard case for the phone itself (seidio innocase) as well as a screen protector.Now the next thing that I am looking for is a good Vertical case/pouch.The thing is that it must be vertical and it must be open at the top (I don't want a cover at all.I want to be able to slide the phone in and out easily). I also must have a belt clip on it.I have found a few online, but for what reviews that I have read stated that they are hard to get the phone in and out of when the phone is naked (no case on it). Since I am planning to have the phone in a hard case at all times that particular case will not work for me.
I have seen the pDair case and it looks good, but $28 USD plus shipping (to Canada) I want to make sure that the phone (in a hard case) will fit in it. I havn’t found any reviews on it as of yet either.I know that the iphone & Nexus One are about the same size as the Milestone and wonder if anyone has tried any of those cases with success? As I am sure (especially for the iphone) that there is a wider selection of cases available.

May 23, 2010I've just purchased a new phone case which has a magnetic catch for my N97. I'm not sure if anyone else has this problem, but when I attempt to use the compass in Nokia maps with my phone in it's case, it appears that the compass doesn't go green after attempting to calibrate it many times, but rather stays red. When I take it out of the case it is able to work after hardly any attempts at calibrating, I think it may be due to the case which has a magnet in it, I've also heard that it can cause the phone to think the back camera is open, if that makes sense, although I haven't encountered this problem yet. I was wondering if there may be long-term damage.

Jan 12, 2012I can't remove the belt clip.I'm encountering alot of resistance and I'm afraid I'll break the unit if I apply more.Can a guy put the clip on incorrectly or will it only go on one way? Jul 27, 2010I have a belt case (made by Insmat), that work very well with my Nokia 3120 classic and Nokia 1600, but my 3 phone N5230 seem not to like this beltacase because when I put th phone in it it comes very hot and it takes all the power from the battery in only few hours.
The phone goes so hot that it it almost inpossible to keep it on my hands.The belt case has a steel plate and magnetised plate to keep it closed. Those plates are sized about 1" * 2.5"...So maybe the phone cannot reach the net because the antenna is behind those plates?

Apr 29, 2015So i ran into a issue last night that could be a big problem for me down the road. I recorded a 15 sec video clip on my son saying something cute. I tried to text it to my sister (who has an iPhone) but it wouldnt attach. It said file is too large. a 15 sec video is too large??? It wasnt even on the highest setting (4K). It was on the default HD. I went into the details of the video and it was 29mb. Luckily I still have my iPhone 6 so I grabbed that, recorded my son again (of course it wasnt as good as the first time) and sent it to my sister via iMessage with no issue at all.
This may seem like a minor thing to some but the fact I cant text a 15 sec video clip to my family is ridiculous. I couldnt even email it. I love my S6 for the most part but for little things like this I can see why people prefer iOS. So my question, Is there a way to compress a video to send it via text? I did this all the time with my iPhone not only to other iPhone users but users on other platforms as well.

May 28, 2012A one hour clip can be viewed on the phone but when I connect to windows 7 via usb, it is not listed in the explorer so I cannot transfer it. The files before and after are there and there is a number missing.
