Sep 4, 2014I had an iphone 4 until July 2013 when I cahnged it to an iphone 5. The biggest regret of my life. Ever since I keep missing out on work as the phone keeps dropping calls. I had the phone replaced twice but to no avail.

IPhone 5s Keeps Dropping Calls?
Jun 28, 2014This phone is rather new, about a month old, and the past week or so it has been dropping calls like crazy. What I mean by that is that people are able to make calls to me, but i never hear any ringtone or anything (yes, my volume is up to the highest) and it registers as a missed call. I got a friend to try and call me while I was in the same room as her to figure out what was happening. She would call me, one ring on her end wouldn't even go by and the call would be dropped. On my end I never get any proper call, just a missed call. Â

Feb 13, 2010A while ago, i jailbroke iPhone 3G on 3.1.2 for the first few weeks it was working fine. Now it seems as my phone app is screwed up. I live in the country and my signal isn't the best. But it was never like this.This is what's happening -
-phone will drop all signal and drop the call when talking.
- i will call someone and it will sit forever and never ring for me, i call people and they can hear me for like 2 seconds then we cant hear each other.
- People sometimes can get threw to me when calling.
I've rebooted the phone, turned on/off 3G, and tryed the phone in diff. areas with no luck.I have these apps installed - Winterboard. Lockinfo. OpenSSH. Sbsettings. Categories. Cycorder. Five Icon dock. and a few others.

May 21, 2010Is it me or is the iPhone always dropping the network! I am almost at my wits end with it loosing signal and not getting network? Really bad! When I put my sim in another orange phone then there is no bother? Calls never dropped other than known black spots, is there anything that I can do to sort this other than sell my phone ?

May 10, 2012I have the iphone 4 now 6 months, really love the phone apart from the dropped calls. I have these every single call I make or receive. I am with Tesco mobile which uses the o2 network, so reception is fantastic. I have done all the usual stuff like place a bumper around phone but made no difference. What I have noticed is the dropped calls seem to happen when the phone goes from 3g to 2g does anyone else have this problem?I am getting to the stage of changing to a different phone.

IPhone :: 4S Dropping Calls And Browser Crashing?
May 15, 2012I picked up a new iPhone 4S on day of release here in the UK (32GB White if anyone's interested!) and it's generally been ok.
It's always had a problem of dropping telephone calls, especially when I'm in the car. Since the update to 5.1.1, it's got much worse.
After a little bit of investigation whilst in the car, it seems that the dropping of the calls is when the phone switches from 3G to Edge to GPRS to GSM and back again. Now, I've had every iPhone on the day of release since the original. This call dropping makes me look a right pillock when on the 'phone to a customer and the call drops out 5 times in as many minutes!
my Safari keeps crashing when I'm trying to post on forums. I don't know why/what is causing it, but this never happened on the 4 and before.

Jul 6, 2010We have two iPhone 3GSs in the household, my dads and my moms.I installed iOS4 on both. And both seem to freeze, lock up, drop calls, have occasional weird glitches far more frequently than they did on 3.1.2 (3.1.3 caused issues as well but not as frequently as on iOS4) Sometimes, the lock screen doesn't unlock and the my slide to unlock it isn't recognized (fixed by hard rebooting the phone).
One time the phone froze completely on the Contacts menu.I'm wondering if the proximity sensor might be glitching and causing some of these dropped calls as well.iOS4 is awesome, don't get me wrong. But my parent's getting glitches is annoying as hell. They were hesistant about going with a smartphone instead of a simple flip phone already, and this isn't helping. Is anyone else having these issues or similar ones?Did Apple screw the pooch when it comes to bug testing the new OS?I wish Apple would just let us go back to 3.1.2 on our iPhones. That worked flawlessly where as the subsequent versions all have serious issues.

Sep 3, 2010I have a jailbroken iPhone4, when i go to bed.. ill charge it, i turn my laptop off when i go to sleep unplug my iPhone which is now at 100%.. i wake up and my iPhone is on 75% or less.. wtf? I don't have winterboard installed.I have activator, bitesms, cyntact, emoji, five icon dock, iconclasm, fiveicondock, ifile, infinifolders, libdisplaystack, lib weather, make it mine, music controls, remove recents, retinawallpapers hd, sbsettings, snaptap, wifisync and 3g unrestrictor.
I am on 4.0.1, i tried to restore it using 4.0.1 firmware i downloaded and it says iPhone unable to restore due to firmware being for inappropriate build or something along those lines.I went for a day out the other week, got 5hrs 30 mins useage with music playback and some internet browsing on 3g, few txts and calls, that can't be right can it?

Apr 7, 2012A few days ago I dropped my phone on the ground. Since then, my battery lasts no more than 2 hours tops. I suppose it would be a hardware issue, yeah? And regular Apple Care doesn't cover a drop, correct? (The glass is slightly cracked as well).

So today I was just wondering if it was going to work, and I plugged it in and it actually started up! Everything works perfectly to my suprise except the battery will not charge. It says it has 15% battery, and wont charge anymore. If I remove the charger it immediately turns off? I still think there is life for my IPhone. Anybody have any suggestions? Jun 7, 2015I have recently purchased a Z3 Dual sim D6633 and around twice a day either when receiving or making a call the phone suddenly drops out during conversation and both network strength bars are showing no signal. a message briefly shows up saying no no network signal ( or something to that effect ) then dissappears. A few seconds later the signal comes back for both sims and all is ok again. Why this is happening but its becoming frustrating especially when I have to call clients back.

Jul 28, 2010I am sure I'll get people telling me the science of Apple's multitasking trying to convince me that there's no way Apps are running in the background or whatnot.But after several days of testing - there are some Apps (like Words with Friends) that are draining the battery when "not in use" but still in the quick start dock. On days that I have NOTHING in the dock, I am at between 97-100% throughout my NYC morning commute while reading with the Kindle Reader. If I have some apps in the dock during the same time frame I've gotten as low as 90-92%.
Going to do some more empirical testing (one full day of not opening up one of these apps at all vs keeping one open but not using all day long) to see overall difference.So either some apps unfortunately are sucking battery life - or my phone, in particular has varied battery life. I typically come home with anywhere from 55-65% of battery left when everything is closed on the dock. On the days I've test the above, I've come home with about 30-40%. Same usages/settings/locations.
