Nokia :: X6-00 - Stop Recieving And Making Calls - All Calls Get Diverted To Answer Phone
Jul 16, 2010Never had problems with Nokia in the past, and after happily purchasing a Nokia X6-00 16GB in the month of March of this year, my thoughts on Nokia only reinforced WHY i've always gone with Nokia.
Now, i purchased the phone when i was living in England, i moved back to Cyprus in April shortly after the purchase and got the phone unlocked, put in a Cypriot Sim card with CytaMobile. Everything was just great.
This past month as been slightly less of a joy though, out of no fault of my own, the phone seems to stop recieving and making calls, all calls get diverted to my answer phone, and to solve this problem i have had to turn the phone off, then back on again. Problem solved.
That was until this morning. I can still recieve texts but if someone attempts to call me, they are greeted with a 'beep' and then the phone call ends on their end.
For me i am greeted with deadly silence, then a little notification saying 'No Answer'.
I have restarted the phone;
Restored Factory Settings'
Upgraded to the latest firmware it will let me, being v20;
Still no luck, i am hoping it is not an internal problem with the phone, as in Cyprus as far as 'Offical' nokia care points are non-existant. The SIM card is on a contract, so if my phone had been cut off, so would my messaging and my internet which are all still in-use, and work just fine without problems.
On another note, if you are unable to find a cause for that problem, maybe you can give me a quick reasoning on why the phone shuts itself off when i choose the facebook application on occasions. Again only over the past month has this been happening.

The only problem is i have no way of identifying whether the calls are being made to the office or my personal phone.

Xperia Z3 :: Keeps Restarting When Receiving Calls
Sep 25, 2015I had had many bugs regarding this phone, but this is one of them. Even though, I have researched and they blamed that it was the SIM card. Replacing a new SIM card might be a solution, but I think this may also be a cause of a defective device since the same SIM card still worked perfectly in another phone. This is my second Sony phone and I will not have a third with any reason.
Other major issue that I also had was the phone was automatically reset and erased all data (including external SD). I also researched and they blamed this might be due to someone logged into google account and triggered it. All right, this can be just an explanation, but since this is a very serious issue since the device could hold all types of data that are very critical to users.

I set the display to timeout 15 sec after inactivity. Whenever I have a call coming in, it vibrates and rings. But if I don't answer or reject it after 15 sec, the screen will turn off and vibration will stop at the meantime, although it keeps ringing and notification LED flashing.
Sometimes, when a call coming in, it shows a pop-up window, but all the sudden it switches to a full screen interface, and again no vibration at all.
It is very annoying because I have vibrate mode on all the time and put it on my work desk. I won't realise there's an incoming call if it doesn't show any notification.

Jun 25, 2015I bought a Sony Xperia Z3V phone on Verizon online and it works awesome but it has one issue. Lately, my friend texts me and says he's going to call me and I say ok. I wait for his call but never rings. He texts me and says he called me twice but my phone never rang at all! So I got my house phone and called myself but it didn't ring neither! I called myself 4 times and no incoming call at all! I left myself a voicemail and it did went through. Now here's the kicker, I have to make a phone call in order for the incoming calls to go through.... I tested that by calling my voicemail or house phone.

Xperia Z5 :: Reboots Intermittently When Making Or Receiving Calls
Oct 15, 2015I've had my Z5 for 2 weeks. My Z3 also suffered from the same problem, I was about to send it off for repair but smashed the screen so decided to upgrade early, now the Z5 is doing the same thing. I don't have a micro sd card in it and I have just replaced the sim with a new one but it still happens. But only intermittently when either making or receiving calls. I'm in the UK on the O2 network.

May 22, 2015I have a samsung galaxy 6 and all incoming calls are setting my ringtone to mute. I put my ringtone volume as high as it will go. Then I call my phone.
