Apr 27, 2010BB 9700 i cannot receive texts but i can send them BBM works fine , was on the phone with T-Mob for almost 3 hours their stumped , they wrote up a trouble ticket 72 hours will be up tonight ,they say engineering is working on it.This is my third 9700 since it was released in November this has been going on for almost a week and a half

Mar 9, 2010I own a pearl 8100 which has worked great until recently. I have not been able to make or recieve any calls, or send and recieve any texts. The only thing i have to go on is a flashing blue arrow on the top right hand corner. It usually doesnt come on until i try to make a call which always results in a call fail. Not sure if this is relevant or not, but the phone is unlocked. It was originally from T-mobile, and its currently on ATT's network.Things I've tried.
-Hard reset
-Memory reset
-Turning off the radio signal and back on
-firmware is up to date
I'm not sure what information is necessary to solve the problem, but if you need to know anything just lemme know.
IPhone :: My 3gs Wont Go Black When I Send Or Recieve Calls Is There Anything I Can Do?
Mar 29, 2012i have had my phone for about a year and a half and recently just upgraded to the iphone 4, i gave the iphone 3gs to my mum to use and suddenly when ever she makes a call or recieves a call the phone wont go back meaning she keeping pushing buttons such as mute etc. i was wondering if there was anyting i can do?

IPhone :: Weird Mailbox?
Jul 1, 2010I am pretty frustrated now. My mailbox is acting up weird:
It keeps on receiving mails w/o contents, sender, and it would show some weird sent date (ie: 12/31/00). And it will not let me delete it. But when I go to "All Mail" then come back to Inbox, those unknown mails would disappear.
Does this happen to you guys?

Jan 23, 2010All of the sudden whenever I update or download a new app the icon becomes smaller than normal.I tried searching the forums and doing a google search but could not find any answers.Hopefully someone can help me out.Fyi the last thing I did was install a theme when this started happening, I tried removing the theme and restarting but I still have the small icons.

IPhone :: Weird Battery Usage - Nothing Running In Background
Jul 25, 2010I'm on my second iPhone 4, since my first one had the yellow screen blobs. The battery was great on my first one, but not so good on this one. I restored the same backup, and even did a settings reset to get rid of anything that may cause an issue.
What's weird is that when I check the usage in Settings > Usage, the standby is correct but the usage is creaping up without me actually using the phone. For example, went to bed last night and usage was around 3 hours and battery level 55%. This morning, it was 3.5 hours and battery was down to 47%. I'd even restarted the phone before going to bed so that nothing was running in the background.
I'm just DFU restoring my phone to see if that helps. And I might delete and re-add my Google Apps Exchange accounts incase there is something going on there.
IPhone :: Receiving Weird Emails On My Gmail Account
Jun 15, 2012I have a Gmail account set up on mail. Suddenly all I get is five emails that say "This email has no content" Followed by endless repetitions of the same thing all dated 12/31/00. I can't get any real email unless I go online on Google. Then my email is ok but I'd rather use Mail.

Jul 29, 2010I have a 3GS running OS 4.0 jailbroken with Pawnage tool. Everything seems normal except that iTunes is acting really weird when I try to synch my apps.When I plug my phone into iTunes and click on the "apps page", instead of seeing a screen shot of my iPhone showing all of the apps I have installed, iTunes shows a blank page. The wallpaper of my phone is displayed, but the rest of the phone is completely blank (no apps, not even the default apps or dock apps like the phone, iPod, email, SMS, calendar, etc). When I tried synching my phone, iTunes rearranged all of my paid apps in alphabetical order. I then rearranged them and tried synching again, only to find the iTunes had put them back into alphabetical order again. ITunes wouldn't recognize any of the folders that I created either. Each time I synched the phone, my folders would be deleted.
Does anyone have any idea how to fix this problem? I read this article on MacWorld where the guy reviewing iOS 4 (and those who left comments) had the same problem with their stock (unjailbroken) iPhone so, I think its a iTunes problem as opposed to a jailbreak problem.
From MacWorld article: "I did experience one issue where, after creating a number of folders in iTunes, and then syncing my iPhone with iTunes, all the folders disappeared and my apps were rearranged (on the phone) in alphabetical order—an incident that required quite a bit of time and effort to recover from."
IPhone :: My Imessaging Is Sending Text As Weird Symbols To A Select Few People?
Apr 23, 2012I have the new iphone 4s. Recently I have been talking to other iphone users but the imessage takes a long time and then results in sending a text message. Usually this is fine but now these people are writing me back and saying that my phone is just sending them weird symbols and numbers instead of my intended message. if I turn off imessage, my texts seem to be fine but I would like to be able to use imessage still.

It goes straight to my answer fone, even if they r sat next to me!When I try n call out it jus says call failed! Also there is a 45+min delay in my texts coming n going.Three deny there is anything wrong with there network or the fone! Sep 5, 2010for the entire time I have had AT&T I have been unable to send MMS messages. I've called AT&T and they've assured me that my MMS is set up correctly on their end. They even cancelled my plan and re set up my account multiple times. I use a 9700 now and previously had an unlocked storm that was unable to send or recieve MMS as well. I've tried swapping my SIM and my bold multiple times and no matter what, I receive the same errors. When I attempt to send an MMS (wether its just text, audio or pictures) I recieve the error message "failed to send message". When I recieve a MMS I recieve the message "go to viewmymessages.com to view this message" I can then pull the message up but its sorta a pain to constantly view my mms messages that way. Anyone got any ideas?

Oct 23, 2010My W595 has stopped recieving messages. My SIM works fine in other phones & can recieve messages. I have been onto my network (3 Ireland) & they have gone through all the possibilities form a network perspective & a phone perspective (as far as was possible) to no avail. It is not the service centre number (I went through that with the network provider) & I have tried resetting the phone but it still didn't work. I have no saved messages or any messages in my inbox, outbox or drafts & I have 21MB of memory left on the phone & 1891 MB left on the memory card so I don't think it's memory issue. I can send SMS messages without a problem but I cannot recieve any. Would anyone be able to advise as to what the problem is? The phone is still under warranty so I'll get it replaced if necessary but this forum may be an easier & quicker way to get this problem taken care of.

BB Bold 9700 :: Freezes When Send/recieve Data
Jul 15, 2010Randomly, my BB will start sending/recieving data (the rx/tx arrows constantly changing back and forth) and the entire phone will lock up. None of the buttons work, it wont respond to anything for about 2-4 mins. Then everything returns to normal. I notice it most in the facebook app or Viigo, mostly because thats when im scrolling a lot. Occasionally, the last button pressed will register after it wakes up from its coma, ie, if i press the back button when its frozen, and nothing after that, when it wakes up, it will *sometimes* register the button. I never get any messages or anything when its doing this.

When I attempt to send something, I get the check mark beside the message confirming it was sent, but they are not being delivered and I am no receiving messages.
