i have had my phone for about a year and a half and recently just upgraded to the iphone 4, i gave the iphone 3gs to my mum to use and suddenly when ever she makes a call or recieves a call the phone wont go back meaning she keeping pushing buttons such as mute etc. i was wondering if there was anyting i can do?

It goes straight to my answer fone, even if they r sat next to me!When I try n call out it jus says call failed! Also there is a 45+min delay in my texts coming n going.Three deny there is anything wrong with there network or the fone! for the entire time I have had AT&T I have been unable to send MMS messages. I've called AT&T and they've assured me that my MMS is set up correctly on their end. They even cancelled my plan and re set up my account multiple times. I use a 9700 now and previously had an unlocked storm that was unable to send or recieve MMS as well. I've tried swapping my SIM and my bold multiple times and no matter what, I receive the same errors. When I attempt to send an MMS (wether its just text, audio or pictures) I recieve the error message "failed to send message". When I recieve a MMS I recieve the message "go to viewmymessages.com to view this message" I can then pull the message up but its sorta a pain to constantly view my mms messages that way. Anyone got any ideas?

View 2 Replies View RelatedRandomly, my BB will start sending/recieving data (the rx/tx arrows constantly changing back and forth) and the entire phone will lock up. None of the buttons work, it wont respond to anything for about 2-4 mins. Then everything returns to normal. I notice it most in the facebook app or Viigo, mostly because thats when im scrolling a lot. Occasionally, the last button pressed will register after it wakes up from its coma, ie, if i press the back button when its frozen, and nothing after that, when it wakes up, it will *sometimes* register the button. I never get any messages or anything when its doing this.

When I attempt to send something, I get the check mark beside the message confirming it was sent, but they are not being delivered and I am no receiving messages.
Which settings do I need to check? I know it has the latest software. I updated it today.
I own a pearl 8100 which has worked great until recently. I have not been able to make or recieve any calls, or send and recieve any texts. The only thing i have to go on is a flashing blue arrow on the top right hand corner. It usually doesnt come on until i try to make a call which always results in a call fail. Not sure if this is relevant or not, but the phone is unlocked. It was originally from T-mobile, and its currently on ATT's network.Things I've tried.
-Hard reset
-Memory reset
-Turning off the radio signal and back on
-firmware is up to date
I'm not sure what information is necessary to solve the problem, but if you need to know anything just lemme know.
i have a samsung blast that i had with tmobile but now my mom is using it and she cant send or recieve pictures. i know i have to change to browser and or mms settings but dont know the codes to open up their menus.

I prepared the image in paint actually. You can clearly see the background of the status bar, normally there's black too.
When I press the home button, spotlight search appears. I have to press the lock button to solve the problem, this problem occurs very often..

I tried restoring it with no luck, there is no water damage, I didn't try to jailbreak it or anything. It shows up in iTunes, makes all the right noises, even when my friend called me it rang, but the screen is just black.

The screen on my iphone 4s has gone balck and sometimes comes up with blue lines, but I cannot get it to reset. I can still receive calls and can hear that the phone is functioning normally (ie. I can swipe the screen as I would normally do to unlock it and I can hear it unlock) but I cannot see any information. Is there a way to reset the display? I have tried holding down the power and home button for 10 seconds with no luck.

I can iMessage, and receive regular messages also. When this happens I can't make phone calls either. Full bars and 3G is fine. Everything works fine besides sending text and making phone calls. I have talked with Verizon. Go to apple and the give me a new phone because it's a software problem on my phone. Now with the new phone same problems. I have reset the network. I have turn off iMessage. Also tried reboot, and restore.

I have restored my iPhone in both standard and DFU mode while setting up a new iPhone everytime still no luck. I have tried the sim card in another iPhone and the sim card works perfectly fine.
I have full bars, on t-mobile which the phone is locked to.
The mobile internet works absolutely fine. When i try ringing 150 it disconnects straight away saying "call ended" I have not tried another sim card in the phone.

I have an iPhone with sprint, and it has worked more than amazingly prior to this. It wasn't until last night around 12am that this started. I have had the phone for 4 to 5 months now. The bars in the top left are flat and occasionally one will pop up. I can t make calls and texts are slow to or just don't send at all. I was messing around on my download app in the browser and it closed and then thu problem arises. I have deleted the app even turned on and off my phone several times and turned airplane mode on and off several times.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI thought that the X7 is supposed to use the proximity sensor to send the screen black during a call because it is next to your face. My phone automatically puts the screen black when I make a call, even if the phone is on the desk or held out in space. Either way, it is very rare for me to be able to convince the phone to bring the screen display back up, ( to do things like enter little things like pin codes ). I flip it around, hold it up to the lights, put it against something, take it away, press every part of the screen. Is there any way of setting the phone not to go black during a call?
