i have a samsung blast that i had with tmobile but now my mom is using it and she cant send or recieve pictures. i know i have to change to browser and or mms settings but dont know the codes to open up their menus.
View 3 RepliesI have just bought a new E52, with few apps installed, why it runs so slow changing menu? May be E51 is faster? Especially Contacts is a frustration. A message tell me it is "preparing the cache and soon the search command will be available again" (?). It could take up to 2 minutes to start an app And then it is very slow to run that: no other apps running in the background other than email. Simple operations like opening a menu can take several minutes its so frustrating. Any ideas what I can do?

View 4 Replies View Relatedfor the entire time I have had AT&T I have been unable to send MMS messages. I've called AT&T and they've assured me that my MMS is set up correctly on their end. They even cancelled my plan and re set up my account multiple times. I use a 9700 now and previously had an unlocked storm that was unable to send or recieve MMS as well. I've tried swapping my SIM and my bold multiple times and no matter what, I receive the same errors. When I attempt to send an MMS (wether its just text, audio or pictures) I recieve the error message "failed to send message". When I recieve a MMS I recieve the message "go to viewmymessages.com to view this message" I can then pull the message up but its sorta a pain to constantly view my mms messages that way. Anyone got any ideas?
View 14 Replies View RelatedRandomly, my BB will start sending/recieving data (the rx/tx arrows constantly changing back and forth) and the entire phone will lock up. None of the buttons work, it wont respond to anything for about 2-4 mins. Then everything returns to normal. I notice it most in the facebook app or Viigo, mostly because thats when im scrolling a lot. Occasionally, the last button pressed will register after it wakes up from its coma, ie, if i press the back button when its frozen, and nothing after that, when it wakes up, it will *sometimes* register the button. I never get any messages or anything when its doing this.

When I attempt to send something, I get the check mark beside the message confirming it was sent, but they are not being delivered and I am no receiving messages.
Which settings do I need to check? I know it has the latest software. I updated it today.
i have had my phone for about a year and a half and recently just upgraded to the iphone 4, i gave the iphone 3gs to my mum to use and suddenly when ever she makes a call or recieves a call the phone wont go back meaning she keeping pushing buttons such as mute etc. i was wondering if there was anyting i can do?

I have a new Turbo. I participate in a lot of conference calls using the same conference room code. To make it easier to dial in, I had it setup on my old phone (Razr Maxx HD) to send the room code after I connected the call. Worked great and I didn't have to memorize a long string and input it (while driving usually). Now, when I click ok to send the tones, they're sent so fast that it comes across as one tone and isn't recognized. Setting the tone length in the settings does no good - normal is still too short. I've tried putting commas (,) in between each number, but that takes sooooo long it defeats the purpose. What's going on or other way to send the tones? I've tried other dialers, but they all use the OS settings and don't do any better.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have an SCH-U440, also known as Gloss, from US Cellular. I have done some digging online, but CDMA codes seem hard to come by. Ideally, I would like to know how to edit the "sms mo so" setting so I could change it to 13k instead of 8k, as has been mentioned in various material I have found. Of course, I'm not sure if this is possible, but if it is not, is there some alternative?
Secondly, tonight, I managed to breach this phone's 70 or 72ish inbox limit by having lots and lots of picture messages. I got it up to 117 when I decided to delete all the messages and see if the new limit had been set, as was suggested to work for certain Samsung models on another site. This does not seem to be the case, as I am back at 72.
Browsing yesterday I came across this app called SGS Secret Codes which lists many (if not all) of the secret codes and dials them for you without you having to remember or search for them online. I have found it to be most useful so far. Just thought I'd post this for others

I've tried a few, one being *#6984125*#, but each time it produces a message that says "Not allowed". The purpose is to install java apps, so I need to update the Java DB, as I've found. I've tried simply using the .jar and .jad files, and making a link to them in a .html file, and both times I wasn't able to open them, giving a message saying the file type wasn't supported. Does anyone know if there is a new admin code that brings you to the menu the first code I mentioned for this phone, or do I need to flash the phone because of some crazy lock my carrier slapped on the phone?

I get error messages that say "Sorry and error occurred. Please try again. if the error persists there may be a problem with the file you're try to access." I've tested this by sending pics to both my phone and CC'ing my mail on my PC and the files are not corrupt as I can open them on my PC. View 2 Replies View RelatedI just recently tried to transfer pictures I took with my driod 4 to a PC. I mounted the phone as USB storage. I can see the files, but regardless of if I copy the files to local drive, or open directly I get an error saying that the file is corrupt. Same when trying media sync instead of usb storage.
This actually happens for any type of file. I can open files that were copied from the PC to the phone, but not files that started on the phone. The files open fine on the phone and open if I email the files to myself.
Can scroll up/down on home screen but not in menus, call logs, email, apps, etc... not "click" on anything anywhere but home screen.

When I call one of those service lines where you have to press numbers from a Menu - like '1' for enquiries, '2' for help desk etc - I pull up the screen keypad in the call window and tap the number but it doesn't seem to register.
