I know some of you will call me crazy and tell me that FaceTime is disabled for iDevices bought in the Middle East, but I swear to God I had it right there in my iPhone.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have an iPhone 5c which is updated to IOS 7.1.1. I regularly use FaceTime and never had a problem. Today I restarted my iPhone as FaceTime Audio call was not connecting, as I normally do in such issue. When the iPhone got restarted the FaceTime App on my iPhone disappeared. I tried searching from the Spotlight it does not show. Even tried to go to Contact to connect call from there but I do not have option to make FaceTime call in contacts as well.

I have just bought a new E52, with few apps installed, why it runs so slow changing menu? May be E51 is faster? Especially Contacts is a frustration. A message tell me it is "preparing the cache and soon the search command will be available again" (?). It could take up to 2 minutes to start an app And then it is very slow to run that: no other apps running in the background other than email. Simple operations like opening a menu can take several minutes its so frustrating. Any ideas what I can do?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI've only just bought the Nokia 1520 and its my first smart phone experience.... When I call one of those service lines where you have to press numbers from a Menu - like '1' for enquiries, '2' for help desk etc - I pull up the screen keypad in the call window and tap the number but it doesn't seem to register.
View 2 Replies View RelatedThis isn't a major issue either but something that keeps bothering me.I recently acquired the nokia 6700 slide phone to replace my older samsung slide phone. So far I'm fairly satisfied with the 6700 and the functions and applications suits my needs. There is however one thing which I haven't been able to change nor do I know if it is possible to change.my old samsung slide, when browsing the menus and applications, closing the slide would automatically close the menu or application I was using and return the phone to the home screen. In 6700, it doesn't close the application or menu that I'm browsing but rather keeps it open in the background as long as I manually navigate away from the menu or application. I know that the power button returns you to your home screen but is it possible to change the slide setting so that simply closing the slide would automatically close the menu or application and return the phone to the home screen? This is not a major issue but I still find it irritating since I'm used to just closing the slide to be able to see the home screen the next time I open it. Do I just have to get used to pushing the power button to get back to the home screen before closing the slide?
View 4 Replies View RelatedConsidering upgrade from Windows 7.5 device (not Nokia) and looking at 820 or 920, but really like speed, integration and features of Bing Maps - looking at reviews/comments, removing the menu item for Bing Maps is putting me off the Nokia and pushing me towards the HTC!Why not have both available on the phone? You have the codee there so it does not affect the underlying platform. User choice is and should be king on these devices, so why remove the Bing Maps option? This must be a simple fix for you to do.... so make yourself another customer, and a load of people out there happier by adding the menu item back in ---- you don't have to have it pinned to the start menu by default, just available for those of us who want to use it instead of -- or as well as -- Nokia Maps.
View 7 Replies View Relatedi bought few days ago BB Curve 9300 and i realized, that there is no wi-fi option, anywhere. I tried to unlock the phone, connect with the internet by BIS, deleted branding, gained access to engineer menu etc, but even though all those things were done properly, i can't get those options back.
EDIT: My OS: 6.0.0.723 (3106) Phone have been branded in Orange, but i've installed other kind of os.
Looking for any good hacks/tricks for this phone. In particular I would like to be able to rearrange the icons on the menus and have all the ones I want listed first or hide ones I done want.
View 5 Replies View Relatedhave a usability issue with my X10. When I call banks etc and find myself in a multi-level voice menu then to hear the robotic instructions ("press 1 for billing enquiries, press 2 for applications, ..."), I need to hold the phone to my ear and the screen goes black; to key in my response, I need to access the numeric keypad but when I remove the phone from my ear, the display takes an irritating length of time to come back on. Does anyone know whether this delay is configurable through the Settings?

View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter the SMS conversation or message is long-tapped, a context menu appears. It does not contain option to dial/copy the sender's number, show the sender's contact info or add the sender to contacts, which would be very natural. I know that there is a workaround via "Edit senders", but it is not intuitive and requires more taps.
- dial the sender's number,
- copy the sender's number,
- show the sender's contact info or add sender to contactsto the context menu displayed after the SMS conversation or message is long-tapped?I think it would be a small and easy, but very useful change.(I am using Xperia Mini with ICS 4.0.4, firmware 4.1.B.0.587)
Anyone have any issues with Poynt on the Torch? I installed Poynt v1.5.4.12 and the trackpad doesn't seem fully functional when navigating through the menus.Say if I go to Movies, I can't click on the trackpad to select any of the options, like "Movies Near Me" or "Theaters Near Me."Instead, I have to select the option using the touchscreen. Then when I go to theaters or movies, the touchpad can only highlight the first theater/movie, then jumps to "More" at the bottom instead of the next theater/movie when you try scrolling down.At least here I can click on the trackpad to bring up the popup menu, though only for that first item on the list.I can move through the lists by flicking up/down on the touchscreen, but if I try to highlight an item by touching it, it always brings up the popup menu, which is annoying when all I want to do is see the movie times, which would be displayed just by highlighting the item.
