BB Bold 9700 :: How To Recieve Pictures Through Text?
Sep 9, 2010I have a bb bold 9700 and I am NOT receiving pictures thru text (mms). I can send them but to receive them. Do I need to change the settings somewhere?

BB Bold 9700 :: Wont Send/Recieve Text Or MMS
Aug 4, 2010Brand new Bold 2 9700 is working great and has been updated BUT... It will not send or recieve SMS or MMS.
When I attempt to send something, I get the check mark beside the message confirming it was sent, but they are not being delivered and I am no receiving messages.
Which settings do I need to check? I know it has the latest software. I updated it today.

Apr 27, 2010BB 9700 i cannot receive texts but i can send them BBM works fine , was on the phone with T-Mob for almost 3 hours their stumped , they wrote up a trouble ticket 72 hours will be up tonight ,they say engineering is working on it.This is my third 9700 since it was released in November this has been going on for almost a week and a half

Sep 5, 2010for the entire time I have had AT&T I have been unable to send MMS messages. I've called AT&T and they've assured me that my MMS is set up correctly on their end. They even cancelled my plan and re set up my account multiple times. I use a 9700 now and previously had an unlocked storm that was unable to send or recieve MMS as well. I've tried swapping my SIM and my bold multiple times and no matter what, I receive the same errors. When I attempt to send an MMS (wether its just text, audio or pictures) I recieve the error message "failed to send message". When I recieve a MMS I recieve the message "go to viewmymessages.com to view this message" I can then pull the message up but its sorta a pain to constantly view my mms messages that way. Anyone got any ideas?

Jul 15, 2010Randomly, my BB will start sending/recieving data (the rx/tx arrows constantly changing back and forth) and the entire phone will lock up. None of the buttons work, it wont respond to anything for about 2-4 mins. Then everything returns to normal. I notice it most in the facebook app or Viigo, mostly because thats when im scrolling a lot. Occasionally, the last button pressed will register after it wakes up from its coma, ie, if i press the back button when its frozen, and nothing after that, when it wakes up, it will *sometimes* register the button. I never get any messages or anything when its doing this.

Jan 11, 2010My bold 9700 seems to be deleting contacts caller id photos randomly. Does it with some more often then others and seems to be ones that i've added myself rather then ones taken from facebook. Anyone else experienced this?i'm running 5.0.0.351 although i'm upgrading it now to see if it cures the issue.

It goes straight to my answer fone, even if they r sat next to me!When I try n call out it jus says call failed! Also there is a 45+min delay in my texts coming n going.Three deny there is anything wrong with there network or the fone! Jan 1, 2010So on New Years Eve I had my pone turned off from 10pm - 1am. Upon turning it back on I found that all the pictures I had taken in the previous 2 weeks were deleted, all but one picture that is. Now, a few days ago my phone wouldn't show pictres in the media tab at all, so I took out the battery and replaced it and pictures showed up. I tried this again for fiding these pictures and it didn't work. Have I lost all of my pictures or will they magically come back again? Anyone else having this issue?

Jan 5, 2010when I go to media and click the pictures icon I get a menu in this order:
All Pictures
Picture Folders
Sample Pictures
I have set a folder to store pics in on my media card. After moving all the pics to that folder I go back and under the tab All Pictures those same pictures that I moved to the folder on my media card are there also. I tried to delete those but it says the pictures are in use. How do I remove the pictures from the All Pictures folder? Also is there anyway to delete the Sample Pictures?

May 24, 2011In my media section I have 2 folders, one named Camera Pictures and one named Picture Library. I can get all the pictures off of the camera pictures but NOT the picture library. I have removed my SD card and tried that way and I have tried searching the device and nothing ever shows up! I do not understand. I am fairly computer literate but this has me stumped. I have even opened my windows manager and manually tried to enter the BB to find and search for the pictures and nothing comes up.

Yesterday I had some of my files hidden on my phone that I could not access. The files that I want went to the media card when hidden. Jan 16, 2010Just like it says, I'm not able to delete pics off my 16 gb card. Actually its more then that. When I press the menu key for options, in the section where " delete" and other options would be, all I show is properties. I've tested another card on my phone, no problems. I've tested this card on another 9700, same problem. Its definitely the card that is messed up. I've tried reformatting (won't let me reformat in my computer, I have to hook my bb up with it inside) and I still have the problem.

Jan 18, 2010My problem today has something to do with the images stored in my bb 9700. When I go into the media and pictures folder and go under all pictures, I have photos that I have already deleted that still come up there as thumbnails, but when I click on them, I am unable to view the pictures. However, when I go to picture folders, I don't see them anymore.
The problem is, I don't want to see those pictures that I have already deleted! It always says this file is marked as read only are you sure you want to delete them, I always click yes and it's not working, I went to properties to try and see if I could unmark them as read only or something but the only option is hidden. I tried opening it as a usb drive but those thumbnail pictures don't show up.
