I can take a picture and then send it right away(FB) - but if I save the picture I cannot find where the option is to send it. I can see all the pictures but I cannot open them from the thumbnail. I have a Bold 9700 ATT with a data plan on BES.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am getting extremely frustrated with my phone. For the last couple of weeks, my phone has been freezing. It freezes when I try to send a picture via text message. It freezes when I try to get images in my email. It does not freeze when I use or send pics via BBM. I have deleted pictures, videos and unnecessary apps on my phone. I have pulled the battery on my phone about 50 times in the last couple of weeks, once 6 times in an hour. I have backed it up using BB Desktop. I even bought a new battery but it's still happening. Please note, I have had this phone for 17 months and have NEVER had these issues before. I have tried emailing myself pictures from my camera to save on my laptop, and there is just no attachment on Outlook! I have logged into my gmail on web browser too, and still no attachment.
Does anyone know how to resolve this, i have tried selecting the size as "small" when prompted to see if that makes a difference.

View 4 Replies View RelatedHas anybody else experienced failures with this phone? I replaced my curve with a 9700 on an upgrade, only to have the brand new Bold 9700 completely die after 6 days. The next one lasted 14 days, and now I sit with my third broken 9700 that went a whopping 2 days.
Every time, the phone will be sending a text and then shut itself off. When I try to do a hard restart by pulling the battery, I get a constantly glowing red LED for a few seconds.Before getting the third phone, I had my SIM card replaced, memory card replaced, and got a whole new set of charging cords. Heck, I hadn't even charged it since I picked it up...
I recently upgraded to a 9700 from a 8900 two months ago, and recently ive noticed at times my messages through the messenger seem to take an AGE to go through.Also most recently, ive been receiving messages really late aswell, and this can be upto 12-24 hours later.Im on t-mobile(uk) and I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem? View 6 Replies View Relatedi have a bold 9700, version 5.1.0.146, recently i have had issues sending texts to only a couple contacts, always in a certain time frame of the night after midnight. my time. I can send and recieve texts from other contacts. It is not this other persons phone.I have tried both reset options numerous times, i do notice once the phone comes back on i have new messages, that are actually old already read messages. So it seems the memory is goofy. i have changed my text delete time from 30 days to 15 days, and have cleaned up some memory in other areas. After midnight i seem to also get old messages poping up at the bottom of the screen as if they were just recieved. its sooooo weird! someone please help its getting very annoying.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a blackberry bold 9700 and its been fine for a month or so, all of a sudden after it has been working fine in the morning it stopped calling and sending texts, i cant receive anything either.
BBM works fine, internet works fine and email its just the calls and texts in and out????
I have restored the phone and done all necessary updates but it still doesn't work, the SIM card is fine as ive put it in another phone and it does everything it should.
Four days ago it just stops sending texts and calls. When I try to send an SMS a little red clock appears next to the message and then after a few minutes it says 'Retries Exceeded'. Whenever I place a call it immediately turns up 'Call Failed'.Then I realised I wasn't receiving texts/calls either.All my bills are up to date, Orange have checked twice now that there isn't a bar on my account, I have set it to 2G only and 3G only, neither did anything so it's back to 2G&3G, I've checked I'm connected to the right network, I have pretty much full signal. I can use BBM and 3G reliant apps such as Facebook but I cannot send/receive emails with either of my accounts.I've updated to the latest OS and I even fully wiped the handset. Done numerous battery pulls.
Tested my sim card in a friends Bold and I suddenly received dozens of unread text messages and numerous missed calls.Kind of worried right now, as I bought this second hand ages ago... it wasn't provided with my contract (which was an LG Arena that I sold to help pay for the Bold) and I have no insurance to speak of.
I'm heading to an Orange shop tomorrow to see what they say, but I've got an awful feeling it's done for and I'll have to cope with my old Nokia 3310 (it's not even colour screen!) for the next 6 months while I save up enough money to buy another Bold...

I have read some solutions about the problem of having the SMS one thread issue, but I really have a different problem.My incoming SMS, comes under different person name, as Example when I have to SMSs from two Users User (A) and User (B), the sms sent from user (A) shows up in the thread of User (B) which is a big mess.
More over when I choose options >> View Folders >> SMS Inbox Then I can see the real sender of the SMS but still when I press open or delete, I can't do anything

My bold 9700 seems to be deleting contacts caller id photos randomly. Does it with some more often then others and seems to be ones that i've added myself rather then ones taken from facebook. Anyone else experienced this?i'm running 5.0.0.351 although i'm upgrading it now to see if it cures the issue.

So on New Years Eve I had my pone turned off from 10pm - 1am. Upon turning it back on I found that all the pictures I had taken in the previous 2 weeks were deleted, all but one picture that is. Now, a few days ago my phone wouldn't show pictres in the media tab at all, so I took out the battery and replaced it and pictures showed up. I tried this again for fiding these pictures and it didn't work. Have I lost all of my pictures or will they magically come back again? Anyone else having this issue?

Sample Pictures
I have set a folder to store pics in on my media card. After moving all the pics to that folder I go back and under the tab All Pictures those same pictures that I moved to the folder on my media card are there also. I tried to delete those but it says the pictures are in use. How do I remove the pictures from the All Pictures folder? Also is there anyway to delete the Sample Pictures?

I can get all the pictures off of the camera pictures but NOT the picture library. I have removed my SD card and tried that way and I have tried searching the device and nothing ever shows up! I do not understand. I am fairly computer literate but this has me stumped. When I press the menu key for options, in the section where " delete" and other options would be, all I show is properties. I've tested another card on my phone, no problems. I've tested this card on another 9700, same problem. Its definitely the card that is messed up. I've tried reformatting (won't let me reformat in my computer, I have to hook my bb up with it inside) and I still have the problem.
