I just have question about sending an SMS to the same person more than once. I've got OS 5.0.0.593. I'm pretty sure it's been doing this for a while. I can't remember if it used to worked with older OS's.Anyway, here's my problem. When I enter the same person's name 10 times, it seems to work, but then it doesn't show all the names
View 13 RepliesI have read some solutions about the problem of having the SMS one thread issue, but I really have a different problem.My incoming SMS, comes under different person name, as Example when I have to SMSs from two Users User (A) and User (B), the sms sent from user (A) shows up in the thread of User (B) which is a big mess.
More over when I choose options >> View Folders >> SMS Inbox Then I can see the real sender of the SMS but still when I press open or delete, I can't do anything

When I go to text certain contacts, it puts their number in the To: field mulitple times. For instance, I go to text Joe Shmoe, I click okay and it ends up sending 7 of the same texts out! I have tried deleting field, but it wont let me.
View 2 Replies View RelatediMessaging has been fine until this last week, and now, 75% of the time any imessages don't send to my girlfriend - they don't change to delivered either - they just sit there, in blue, but not sent or delivered.
We have both restored our phones and backed up from icloud - this didnt fix anything.
We both changed our imessage "recieved at" email addresses yesterday - to make our tests weren't sending from the old attached email account, I'd send a message to her, then get her to reply and vice versa - basically to make sure it was the newly setup email (as I believe there's a propogation period when adding a new email to imessage?) - either way, this didn't work.
I've tested via my ipad2 - shockingly enough, this didn't work.

Whenever I get a phone call people complain to me that my phone sends 3 or 4 messages to their phone. Is there any way to fix this or does this happen to everybody?

I don't know what's happened, but for some reason my iPhone 5 has stopped sending iMessages to my boyfriend (the person I iMessage the most), it simply just says 'delivered' on my iPhone but they're not actually sending to him. It's working perfectly fine for everyone else.Â
I've reset my network settings and still nothing, what else can I do? Switch off iMessage and back on again? Not being able to text (iMessage) him is going to be a problem.Â

Yesterday my messages with my friend disappeared and when I try to text them through selecting new message and literally typing in their number, it will send it to my mother. It's only happening between my friend and my mother. Weirdest thing. I checked their contacts and there is no overlapping information.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have been informed that when I send an email with an attachment (whether its "attach file" or "send picture as email") the attachment is not on the recipients email.
I have tried emailing myself pictures from my camera to save on my laptop, and there is just no attachment on Outlook! I have logged into my gmail on web browser too, and still no attachment.
Does anyone know how to resolve this, i have tried selecting the size as "small" when prompted to see if that makes a difference.
I recently set up a new email address, i cant remember ever having problems before doing this.
I can take a picture and then send it right away(FB) - but if I save the picture I cannot find where the option is to send it. I can see all the pictures but I cannot open them from the thumbnail. I have a Bold 9700 ATT with a data plan on BES.

View 4 Replies View RelatedHas anybody else experienced failures with this phone? I replaced my curve with a 9700 on an upgrade, only to have the brand new Bold 9700 completely die after 6 days. The next one lasted 14 days, and now I sit with my third broken 9700 that went a whopping 2 days.
Every time, the phone will be sending a text and then shut itself off. When I try to do a hard restart by pulling the battery, I get a constantly glowing red LED for a few seconds.Before getting the third phone, I had my SIM card replaced, memory card replaced, and got a whole new set of charging cords. Heck, I hadn't even charged it since I picked it up...
I recently upgraded to a 9700 from a 8900 two months ago, and recently ive noticed at times my messages through the messenger seem to take an AGE to go through.Also most recently, ive been receiving messages really late aswell, and this can be upto 12-24 hours later.Im on t-mobile(uk) and I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem? View 6 Replies View Relatedi have a bold 9700, version 5.1.0.146, recently i have had issues sending texts to only a couple contacts, always in a certain time frame of the night after midnight. my time. I can send and recieve texts from other contacts. It is not this other persons phone.I have tried both reset options numerous times, i do notice once the phone comes back on i have new messages, that are actually old already read messages. So it seems the memory is goofy. i have changed my text delete time from 30 days to 15 days, and have cleaned up some memory in other areas. After midnight i seem to also get old messages poping up at the bottom of the screen as if they were just recieved. its sooooo weird! someone please help its getting very annoying.

BBM works fine, internet works fine and email its just the calls and texts in and out????
I have restored the phone and done all necessary updates but it still doesn't work, the SIM card is fine as ive put it in another phone and it does everything it should.
This is my first bb and I love it to bits...I have noticed that today whenever i receive a call I have the same caller id showing as the first person that rang me after I switched my phone on this morning...and that was my wife...so I have been answering "hi gorgeous" to everyone all day!

When I try to send an SMS a little red clock appears next to the message and then after a few minutes it says 'Retries Exceeded'. Whenever I place a call it immediately turns up 'Call Failed'.Then I realised I wasn't receiving texts/calls either.All my bills are up to date, Orange have checked twice now that there isn't a bar on my account, I have set it to 2G only and 3G only, neither did anything so it's back to 2G&3G, I've checked I'm connected to the right network, I have pretty much full signal. I can use BBM and 3G reliant apps such as Facebook but I cannot send/receive emails with either of my accounts.I've updated to the latest OS and I even fully wiped the handset. Done numerous battery pulls.
Tested my sim card in a friends Bold and I suddenly received dozens of unread text messages and numerous missed calls.Kind of worried right now, as I bought this second hand ages ago... it wasn't provided with my contract (which was an LG Arena that I sold to help pay for the Bold) and I have no insurance to speak of.

Suddenly, I can no longer hear other person on the Bold 9700 phone, unless I plug in headset, or sometimes it works activating the speaker phone. Tried rebooting, upgrading OS to 6.0 and cleaning headphone jack with alcohol dipped q-tip stick. Speaker works fine in media mode.

The caller can hear me but unless it's on speaker I cannot hear them. I've tried rebooting, network refresh, updating the software to 7.1 and it works for a little while and then back to not hearing anything.
