I've tested this by sending pics to both my phone and CC'ing my mail on my PC and the files are not corrupt as I can open them on my PC. I attempted .jpeg, .png, ,gif and .bit and none will open or save.

Jul 12, 2012I just recently tried to transfer pictures I took with my driod 4 to a PC. I mounted the phone as USB storage. I can see the files, but regardless of if I copy the files to local drive, or open directly I get an error saying that the file is corrupt. Same when trying media sync instead of usb storage.
This actually happens for any type of file. I can open files that were copied from the PC to the phone, but not files that started on the phone. The files open fine on the phone and open if I email the files to myself.

Next is when you take picture. When u go to photo albums. You see a link below saying open in Nokia camera. How come pics have that link and others don't? I took some smartcam pics too look at later and can't open it up and do the action shots and other stuff.

Jan 8, 2013I can't open messages on my xperia mini. Its showing me I have 9 unread messages all received over the last few days but when I go into messages it shows nothing. This happened after the battery got low so it turned it self off and then when its recharged it seems to revert back to a date in the past. I have turned on and off, deleted some messages, reset date and time - all make no difference.
