My iPhone 4 screen has went black I can still receive calls and messages but I can't answer them. I can't reset my phone because my lock button is jammed. What do i do?

Recently i got careless and i accidentally cracked my nexus 5 screen after dropping it on the ground
Currently the touch screen works but there is a problem. I am unable to answer calls as the screen goes black and does not turn on again until the person has hung up or until i reset the phone. Also when i try to call out the screen turns black as well and exhibits the same symptoms as listed above.
From people who have had experience with cracked Nexus 5 screens, do you think replacing the digitizer + lcd will fix this issue or did i screw up something big
The screen on my iphone 4s has gone balck and sometimes comes up with blue lines, but I cannot get it to reset. I can still receive calls and can hear that the phone is functioning normally (ie. I can swipe the screen as I would normally do to unlock it and I can hear it unlock) but I cannot see any information. Is there a way to reset the display? I have tried holding down the power and home button for 10 seconds with no luck.

I see the icons move when I slide across them, but they don't respond.
My ipone does not receive messages(sms) or calls. I don't get any messages when someone tryes to call or message me and the signals from my operator are perfectly good. The ones who are trying to call me doesn't get any message saying my phone is off or disconnected. For them it seems as if I don't bother to pick up the phone.

its been 6 months since i bought my phone...sometimes the phone freezes...comes to life when it is re-booted...this was happening occasionally....
two days back didn get any calls or messages from the morning nor i wasn't able to make any outgoing calls too...
so called to my phone from land line and checked...the ring went on but i didn get any display like getting a call in my phone...
i was able to lock,slide,take a pic...but de call was still on and there was no traces...not even a record of a missed call....

My phone works perfectly except I can't answer calls, when I press answer/ignore it freezes until it goes to voicemail and then comes back. I've flashed multiple roms and had the problem with all of them. I'm not using any special themes or anything, and the only software I ever install are HD Tweak and Finger Keyboard 2.1 and my radio 1.14.25.24. Here's a list of what I've done since I had the phone:
1. Bought phone. Flashed HSPL. Flashed Laurentius L26, no problems. Was being lazy so I didn't hard reset after flashing.
2. Flashed Dutty R14. Didn't hard reset after flashing. No problems for awhile and then the problem of not being able to answer calls appeared.
3. Flashed EnergyRom wm6.5 rom. Hard reset twice after. Still having problem where I can't answer calls.
4. Flashed Dutty 3.9XT wm6.1 rom. Hard reset twice after. Still having problem where I can't answer calls.
If anyone can help me figure out why my phone is doing this I'd really appreciate it, I'll even pay you some money on PayPal if you like because I really want to fix it. Here are some ideas I had as to why it's not working:
- Problem with rom flash. No, because I tried it with 3 different roms so far and had the same problem.
- Touch HD isn't fast enough to run wm6.5 and be stable. No, because I tried it with a wm6.1 rom too and had the same problem.
- Someone suggested it might be a problem with the battery. No, because I ordered new replacement batteries and tried them and had the same problem.
- Some of the settings in HD Tweak are incompatible with something in the roms I'm using. Maybe, is this possible? I don't really change much, just the softkeys and the highlight color and things like that.
- Screwed up something in the SPL or something because I didn't hard reset after flashing the first 2 roms. Maybe, is this possible?
- Dropped my phone and somehow managed to break nothing but the mechanism involved in answering calls. Maybe, is this possible?
Today I'm going to reflash HSPL, flash the stock HTC rom, hard reset twice, and see if I still have the problem. I don't know what else to do or what other possibilities there are. If anyone can shed some light on this issue, that would be great, because I really don't want to have to buy a new phone.
I have updated my mobile 5800 xpressmusic firmware to V50.xx. After the update, whenever I receive calles, I am not able to answer the calls by touching the screen, when I get call, I am seeing 2 option in the screen

if I touch the option "answer" it is not working, I need to unlock first then need to touch the "answer" to attend the call,can some one help me what could be the probem?
Either when making a call or receiving one, the screen goes black so you can't answer or hang up. Pressing any of the keys makes no difference whatsoever.
Once the caller cancels the call, the screen lights back up. It happens whether the keypad is locked or not.
Really strange, it's only intermittent but really annoying when you can't answer your phone?
I have a problem with an iPhone 4 GSM with iOS 5.1: until last week it perfectly worked and then it started to not have any signal bars and therefore I can't receive and send either calls or texts. Oddly enough though I can still connect to the web. I forgot to mention before that the iphone is factory unlocked.I tried to reset the settings and then to format the device but nothing changed. View 4 Replies View RelatedSometimes, after a call ends, my screen stays black, not turned off, just black. The status bar stays on the top, as you can see in the image below.
I prepared the image in paint actually. You can clearly see the background of the status bar, normally there's black too.
When I press the home button, spotlight search appears. I have to press the lock button to solve the problem, this problem occurs very often..

A few times a week it becomes almost impossible to answer calls as you cannot slide the unlock across the screen. Latest android 2.1 on phone, have tried repairing this and using service / app killers. It is not a dirty screen as often once you have missed the call you can unlock the screen easily.

My phone will no longer make or receive calls and I can't text after upgrading to iOS 8.1.1. I've tried everything except chucking the phone out the window. I have reset it multiple times, turned it off and back on, reset the network settings, reset all settings, toggled the airplane mode switch, and done a complete factory restoration. What else is there to do? I can't get a new phone for another year.
