All of the sudden whenever I update or download a new app the icon becomes smaller than normal.I tried searching the forums and doing a google search but could not find any answers.Hopefully someone can help me out.Fyi the last thing I did was install a theme when this started happening, I tried removing the theme and restarting but I still have the small icons.

My home screen is white. The icons on the panel are really tiny and scattered around. I keep getting error this and error that when i try to open an app or anything. I cant play my music. Basically my phone doesnt look normal and i already tried turning it back on and off.

I am pretty frustrated now. My mailbox is acting up weird:
It keeps on receiving mails w/o contents, sender, and it would show some weird sent date (ie: 12/31/00). And it will not let me delete it. But when I go to "All Mail" then come back to Inbox, those unknown mails would disappear.
Does this happen to you guys?
I have been getting calls from verizon the number is like 00 and today they called and said my service might be interupted for a little while.. and two other times they called too. It only started happening after i got my iphone 4.. what can i do ?

View 6 Replies View RelatedI'm on my second iPhone 4, since my first one had the yellow screen blobs. The battery was great on my first one, but not so good on this one. I restored the same backup, and even did a settings reset to get rid of anything that may cause an issue.
What's weird is that when I check the usage in Settings > Usage, the standby is correct but the usage is creaping up without me actually using the phone. For example, went to bed last night and usage was around 3 hours and battery level 55%. This morning, it was 3.5 hours and battery was down to 47%. I'd even restarted the phone before going to bed so that nothing was running in the background.
I'm just DFU restoring my phone to see if that helps. And I might delete and re-add my Google Apps Exchange accounts incase there is something going on there.
I have a Gmail account set up on mail. Suddenly all I get is five emails that say "This email has no content" Followed by endless repetitions of the same thing all dated 12/31/00. I can't get any real email unless I go online on Google. Then my email is ok but I'd rather use Mail.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a 3GS running OS 4.0 jailbroken with Pawnage tool. Everything seems normal except that iTunes is acting really weird when I try to synch my apps.When I plug my phone into iTunes and click on the "apps page", instead of seeing a screen shot of my iPhone showing all of the apps I have installed, iTunes shows a blank page. The wallpaper of my phone is displayed, but the rest of the phone is completely blank (no apps, not even the default apps or dock apps like the phone, iPod, email, SMS, calendar, etc). When I tried synching my phone, iTunes rearranged all of my paid apps in alphabetical order. I then rearranged them and tried synching again, only to find the iTunes had put them back into alphabetical order again. ITunes wouldn't recognize any of the folders that I created either. Each time I synched the phone, my folders would be deleted.
Does anyone have any idea how to fix this problem? I read this article on MacWorld where the guy reviewing iOS 4 (and those who left comments) had the same problem with their stock (unjailbroken) iPhone so, I think its a iTunes problem as opposed to a jailbreak problem.
From MacWorld article: "I did experience one issue where, after creating a number of folders in iTunes, and then syncing my iPhone with iTunes, all the folders disappeared and my apps were rearranged (on the phone) in alphabetical order—an incident that required quite a bit of time and effort to recover from."
I have the new iphone 4s. Recently I have been talking to other iphone users but the imessage takes a long time and then results in sending a text message. Usually this is fine but now these people are writing me back and saying that my phone is just sending them weird symbols and numbers instead of my intended message. if I turn off imessage, my texts seem to be fine but I would like to be able to use imessage still.

This is not the same post as the other "hiding icons." I checked. What I was wondering was; is there a way to hide the 8 icons I have showing at the bottom of my screen, until I touch the screen? The idea is when my phone isn't in use I would like the icons to go away. Sort of like a screen saver. It's a BB Storm 2, 9550.

I have deleted it from the applications list and do not see it in the modules list but the icon still shows.I also have icons that have the "Hide" checked but are not really hidden. The icon looks as though it is transparent.
View 6 Replies View RelatedTheres this weird notification icon on the notification bar, and it's an envelope, with what I believe is a blackberry symbol in the center, and a red circle with a 1 on the top right corner I believe. I checked other forums, and I followed their instuctions to go to the main email and click the show all one, but there is none. I also tried clicking "mark all prior unopened" and nothing happened. It is really bugging me. I also checked my bbm, all of the apps, and everything else there is to check, but nothing has happened.

The screen went black, or The screen got mirrored. but everything still worked when The keyboard was not sliced open. Yesterday, my bb just went black when i opened The keyboard and this time, the screen stayed black. I think there is something wrong with the software on the chip that controles the visual for the screen. Because even when i had mirrored view, it still responded on the touchscreen, but the things you saw just didnt match with What you touched. What can I do? I bought my bb online, so i cant go back to the store.

It looks like some sort of sundial (the clock replacement we used when we did not have clocks) with a red star and 1 written before it. Tried every app, message, etc. etc. but to no avail. I would upload the picture (I have munched the screen using an app), were it not for my knowledge of how to upload pictures on.
I recently bought a SE Xperia Neo which was running 2.3.4 without any problems.I updated to 4.0.4 using SUS from my computer. After updating to 4.0.4 ICS I am experiencing the following issue.Quite frequently (once or twice a day or so) the screen stops waking up. That is if screen is in sleep mode and if I press the Power/Wake Up/Lock-Unlock button, the screen does not come up. Only lights below Back-Home-Menu button at the bottom comes up.In this condition, the phone is on, not like phone restarts or shuts down. If I call my number, phone starts ringing and vibrating but display doesn't come up.The only way I need to follow is to pull up battery, reinsert and restart the phone. This is really being headache.I have already done update once again using SUS (or reinstall) but the problem is there.This problem wasn't there when I was using 2.3.4 for about a week.Is anybody else experiencing the same problem

View 9 Replies View RelatedRecently i installed easy debian package to my N900.. & yesterday i tried uninstalling it..i removed easy debian & easy chroot from app mgr & then deleted the debian image from the home directory..
but for some reason since morning my memotyr that is reserved for installed applications is acting weird..it used to show 1.8GB free but now suddenly only shows 900mb free , in the mornign it shwed only 183mb free etc.. and when i copy some pictures using mass stroage mode my 2GB memory space gets reduced... my RSS folders stopped working since last night... dont know what is going on.. acting really weird.. did I not complete the uninstallation of easy debian?
I'm not sure if this happened after my upgrade to .592, but when I hang up after a call or close the camera, I hear the country song "Your Man". It is so weird. I have my profile as Vibrate, event sounds off, even turned it to silent, it still plays.

View 7 Replies View RelatedSo I sent a text to somebody and then I checked back at the message center and it has this little icon that resembles a cell phone. I was a little puzzled yet intrigued.I tried to google it and nothing came up. Also when I checked bbm on that person that I sent the text to, the icon appeared again. Its just a verticle rectangle with a white box in the top of portion of the man rectangle. Again the icon looks like a cellphone.

View 4 Replies View RelatedA friend of mine JUST got a replacement BBerry Curve 8330 (US Cellular) after her last one bit the dust. She got it two days ago, and from the get-go, when she types, particularly in Blackberry Messenger, it types the words backwards and changes the letters to weird characters. It doesn't do it all the time. She brought it over and I updated the software for her, and we did a battery pull, but it didn't fix it.
