My home screen is white. The icons on the panel are really tiny and scattered around. I keep getting error this and error that when i try to open an app or anything. I cant play my music. Basically my phone doesnt look normal and i already tried turning it back on and off.

I can still make phone calls and texts but it doesnt let me play music or anything else. There's a picture of how it looks. What can i do? And yes i've done all the resets i could do and i even did a hard reset and a full data wipe.

My daughters phone has been going wrong for a couple of wks. i have had error 507 messages and have had to force the reboot twice. But today its something new... all the icons and applications are now just a black outline on a white screen, no colour or they are writting? Calls can b received but thats it.

A little whilte envelope with a red spot has appeared on my screen between my volume and the time
I recently noticed that there was a lighter white mark in the center of the LCD screen, no larger than a grain of sand. It isn't a dead pixel but when the screen displays bright colours like white, cyan or yellow, I can clearly see a white mark. It's not very noticeable but I know it's there which is quite irritating. I doubt it is worthy of a replacement but it's worrying as I assume it is the components behind the screen pushing against the display. I don't know of it isn't any relevance but I noticed this after my screen was replaced for free by Sony after a different issue.
View 6 Replies View RelatedFirst off when I take my phone out of lock or wake up it from sleeping the icons are missing till i wipe my finger across the screen.. its weird to explain but its kinda like i have to swipe the whole screen for the icons to be visable the same thing happens when my phone goes to sleep and the keyboard is open.. any ideas?

After i put it into charge - then only a successful start is done. So the only solution as of now i have - is whenever my blackberry hangs - i need to remove the battery - insert it again - and immediately put it into charging via USB/Electric-Power. My Torch (my 6th BB) somehow switched the number of icons per screen configuration from many icons to a single icon per screen. The Torch screen locking mechanism is too sensitive and my BB unlocked in my pocket (this is a major defect).Once unlocked my "pocket" must have launched a shortcut from the touch screen reconfiguring the number of icons per screen. I was told by a BB guru that I would probably have to reload the OS software to get the standard configuration back. how to launch the icon settings short cut?
