I recently bought a time capsule. I use it for wifi. I am perfecly Abel to connect my iPad, my MacBook, my works HP PC and my eies iPhone 4 to it. Hoverer my on iPhone 4 doesnt connect. It was on the frist dag, but sine then it hast breen Abel to connect for 5 dans. It finds the net, but seems to try connecting, but doesnt realky Get on.

I have a time capsule connected to a BT Infinity Hub and I have disabled wifi on the hub and set up a private network on the time capsule. My daughters laptop, ipad and my ipad can connect to the network but 2 x iphone 4 and 1 x iphone 4s cannot. They can see the network, they get the password prompt but when connecting they get the error message unable to join the network.

Was using Airport Extreme and having no problem connecting iPhone 4S and Ipad2 to the WiFi. Now added the new 3TB Time Capsule as the main router and can no longer get devises to connect.

I set up the time capsule today and connected my MBP and a windows laptop to it. The iphone 4s connected smoothly to the time capsule and see full wifi strength on the phone. The internet connection on the phone is however very patchy. I get the connection for about 1sec and then drops off for the next few seconds. I have checked the connection using speed test. The internet connection is however working fine on the MBR and the windows laptop.

When I connect my iPhone to my computer, iTunes only SOMETIMES opens up. I would say it's less than half the time. I know the computer is seeing the iPhone because the "disk drive" box that pops up (that shows the photo directory) ALWAYS opens and I see it in device manager. I have uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes numerous times and it didn't help. It's a Windows 7 64bit PC. The phone is jailbroken but it did the same thing before the JB.
View 5 Replies View RelatedMy daughter dropped my wifes iphone in the bath and it will now only power up when plugged into the mains. When plugged in it cannot find the sim and according to the local apple store the wifi antenna is also broken. We are not bothered about the phone it is the 1500 photos and videos of our girls which we don't want to lose. The phone hasn't been backed up recently and she is not registered with icloud so that is out the window. So, I thought that if the phone could be powered by the mains and somehow connected to my mac at the same time I could perhaps get the photos synced.
It worth pointing out that the USB doesn't turn the phone on when connected to the mac. Is there such a cable in existence which has two usb leads from the iphone dock connector? I just cant believe that the photos and videos cannot be accessed and saved by a company that always tells us they are cutting edge and ahead of the rest of the market, especially as the phone traded in will get, repaired, wiped and sold on as a refurbed phone, if they can do that they can get us our files off.

After upgrading to ios5.1 my phone takes a very long time trying to connect to my email servers, check for new mail, and to update email status. After deleting emails, the Mailboxes window often takes a very long time updating status to reflect the emails as read.
This process used take no time at all, but now simply connecting to the servers after selecting the Mail icon can take 30+ seconds. Also, when it indicates the email boxes as updated, the spinning clock icon at the top status bar is still going.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI have paired my bluetooth device to Galaxy S5. No issues. If I go into my settings and select bluetooth, I see my device list as the only "paired device"
EVERY morning, I have to go into my bluetooth settings and click the _only_ paired device to connect. When I do, it connects with no issues.
All I want the S5 to do is connect when it gets in range (in range since bluetooth is always on).
I doesn't do this by itself. Why? I do not have any issues pairing. It just doesn't auto connect.
I am using Incredible S and every time when I have to connect to 3G network, I have to restart my phone. Earlier it used to connect automatically when there is no active WiFi connection but after some time I had to disable Mobile Network and enable once again.
Later this workaround stopped working and I had to use Enable WiFi Hotspot but now only option is to restart the phone. After restarting it works perfectly fine but once it gets disconnected I have to restart once again.
I remember one of my friend is also facing the same problem. how to get this fixed or is it a problem with Android 2.3?
One thing which may help in debugging when I disable or enable Mobile network, it happens in a fraction of second. I do not get a message "Turning on..." or "Turning off..."
Recently my phone has been restarting by itself. And now it's gotten worse. Every time I try to connect to the WiFi it automatically restarts.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI am syncing iTunes playlists plus one WMP playlist. Inspire 4G on Win 7 with latest versions of everything. Every time I connect to HTCSync it thinks it needs to sync all my music again. Takes a looooooong time. Sync's the same songs over and over. Does not sync all of the WMP songs in the playlist. 8GB chip with 2.1 GB free so I don't think room is an issue.

The phone connects perfectly fine and it says it is connected, but whenever I attempt to use the internet nothing will load at all. The wifi bars are there and are full, but nothing works. In wifi settings it says it is connected. On all of the other desktops, laptops, and mobile devices in the house the same wifi works perfectly fine. So, I have come to the conclusion that it must be something having to do with the phone.

View 10 Replies View RelatedThe Last sync and Last backup dates don't update when I connect to BB desktop and do auto sync and backup. This causes backup to run every time I connect instead of weekly like I have it setup. If I do a manual sync the date updates but if I do a manual backup the date stays unchanged. I'm running desktop 6.0.0.43 and OS 5.0.0.886. Does anyone know how to cure this problem?
View 4 Replies View RelatedMy iPhone 3GS is set to change time automatically with the Daylight Savings change. That worked as the phone time itself is correct, but the times for the different places in the built-in World Clock app are still off by an hour (they are on the old time). This is also true of my husband's iPhone 3G. Strangely, I have an iPod touch that adjusted both its system time and the World Clock times without difficulty.
I have tried syncing the phone, toggling on/off the update time automatically, and rebooting, but the time is still incorrect. If I try adding a new place, it will also have the wrong time.
There may also be an issue with other apps - the ESPN app had the start time of a game today off by an hour as well.
Does anyone have any ideas as to how to fix this?
Edit: To clarify, the times are wrong for US cities that do observe DST, such as New York, Chicago, etc.
When inputting a time for an appointment or an alarm, th time selection wheel doesnt show 24 hour time format anymore since updating to IOS 5.1. I have an iPhone 4 and the general time setting is on 24 hr time format.

I receive messages from people hours after they tell me they sent them but when I receive them it has the current time listed, as if it was just sent. It would be fantastic to know the msg was sent at 10am and now being 2:30pm, I can have a better reply. It's definitely with the phone, because I know a few of the people have the same service provider but different phones. When messages are received on my wifes phone, it shows when they were sent, not the current time. I've looked at my settings but do not see a way to change this, is there a way?

I am using BB 8520 Curve with the default external memory (2 Gb). I have music files (*.mp3, *.wma) as well as picture files (captured through the device itself).What happens is, from time to time I am unable to access the media card content. If I go to music, I can see the entries if I go to any of the menu filters, All Songs/Artists/Albums/Genres .. etc. But when I click on the song itself, the music player opens with a message "This playlist contains no valid songs". Also, during this time, my device rings with the default tunes on a call, even if I have set custom profile ring tones.Similarly, if I go to Media->Pictures, I can see a thumbnail preview of the photos, however on trying to open a file it just presents me with a black screen. The contact picture or the desktop custom wallpaper, however is rendered as expected.If I reboot my device by taking off the battery, things get working again.I am experiencing this issue quite frequently, almost every day. I tried to find out a trend for the behaviour, however could not make any such consistent observations.Does anyone in the forum has faced similar issue? Any inputs would be highly appreciated.
