When inputting a time for an appointment or an alarm, th time selection wheel doesnt show 24 hour time format anymore since updating to IOS 5.1. I have an iPhone 4 and the general time setting is on 24 hr time format.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI receive messages from people hours after they tell me they sent them but when I receive them it has the current time listed, as if it was just sent. It would be fantastic to know the msg was sent at 10am and now being 2:30pm, I can have a better reply. It's definitely with the phone, because I know a few of the people have the same service provider but different phones. When messages are received on my wifes phone, it shows when they were sent, not the current time. I've looked at my settings but do not see a way to change this, is there a way?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm have two accounts (gmail + work email) that both have incorrect times for both inbox AND sent folder. I send an email from my phone and it shows the time as 1 hour behind but shows up in my inbox on my computer as the correct time. When I check the connection info, that is correct. So I'm guessing it's an issue with my phone's clock? I have it set to local time and automatic time update is turned on as well. I use mail for exchange to sync my calendar with google calendar and the times there are correct there too. I've uninstalled and reinstalled a few times and also have reset the data. It was working correctly prior to my most recent hard reset (obv N97). Can anyone point me to any setting that I may be overlooking?

View 4 Replies View RelatedWhen syncing my BB to desktop Outlook calendar with new appointments by USB cable, the appointment time on the BB is exactly one hour later than when its scheduled in Outlook. So, an appt for 10:00 am on my desktop shows as 11:00 am on my BB. Its true whether the appt was entered on my BB or in Outlook calendar. I currently use Outlook 2007 on my desktop with Windows XP, have BB Curve 8530 Version 5.0 with Verizon and use BB desktop software version 6.1.0.35.

I didn't touch any of the time settings that I knew of....I went into the setting screen for the clock and where it used to say Eastern Time zone now says daylight savings time. Page further into the time settings, I got to the time set page which showed the correct time was set.I backed back out to the clock screen only to see it still showing 1 hour off... I shut the watch off and restarted it... After doing so, the time was now correct..

View 9 Replies View RelatedSony Erickson X Peria X2. Just bought an X Peria X2 for $650 CD N, Yesterday having a few small problems questions. Question 1: How do I change the time from 24 hour clock to a 12 hour clock? I've gone into Settings -> System Settings -> Regional Settings and changed it from HH:mm:SS to H:mm:SS and turned the phone off then on. Tried other way around and it stays a 24 hour clock. The time style example doesn't change between the two options, it stays 24 hour clock.
Question 2: How do I access the Memory card on my computer. I installed Windows Mobile Center on Windows 7. I can access the Phones Memory but not the memory card itself where all the pictures and stuff are.
Question 3: The time of sending and receiving texts is different for me. I'll send a text at 13:33 and she replays 10 seconds later but the phone says she replied at 9:33, when it should be 13:33 as well as it was sent and received at the same time. This happens with everyone I text. Not a big deal but annoying as I wont know the correct time they text ed me back.
Question 4: Everything seems to kinda run a little slow when opening things etc.... I have checked task manager and nothing else is running data is off everything, but still pretty slow. I watched a video saying that It will receive an update this month but when I go to Sony website they only have the X1 on there not the X2 for some stupid reason.
I've had a nokia 5800 for about 6 or 7 months now. when I got the phone I turned on the automatic time update and it kept time really well. Then it got to about november last year and suddenly it jumped ahead 1 hour. Now every morning I have to turn on auto update (since the phone wont keep time without it), let the time update, change the time back one hour and tell it I havn't changed time zones. I live in Perth Western Australia and we dont use daylight savings so I dont know what is going on with it.

I have also tried this across different devices since TMO just warranty swapped my old one and it is still happening on the new one. When I change it to "no" it won't save - I can click "save" and nothing happens, I can't exit the screen until I click "discard". Ideas? This makes me nuts.

currently, the only way to bring up the current time is to (1) hit the home button (brings up phone controls), (2) slide to unlock, (3) hit home again (to get to enter passcode screen), and (4) enter passcode to see time in green bar at the top of the screen. it's a cumbersome process.

I travel a lot to different timezones with my iPhone, and have just got back from India which is 4.5 hour ahead of the UK. Since getting back and resetting the timezone in General - Date & Time to London, I've found what seems to be a bug.
I have my iPhone synced to our Exchange server at work.
When I received ICS meeting requests from anyone, the meeting request notification that appears shows the time in India Time Zone, even though if I then open the request it's shown as the correct time in my Calendar and in the details of the request.
As mentioned, I'm set the the correct timezone in Date & Time. And in Calendar settings I've tried with TimeZone Support both on and off, but nothing makes a difference.
I have also tried rebooting the iPhone. I haven't done a restore yet as I have loads of stuff on there and it takes ages to restore.

View 3 Replies View RelatedMy iPhone 3GS is set to change time automatically with the Daylight Savings change. That worked as the phone time itself is correct, but the times for the different places in the built-in World Clock app are still off by an hour (they are on the old time). This is also true of my husband's iPhone 3G. Strangely, I have an iPod touch that adjusted both its system time and the World Clock times without difficulty.
I have tried syncing the phone, toggling on/off the update time automatically, and rebooting, but the time is still incorrect. If I try adding a new place, it will also have the wrong time.
There may also be an issue with other apps - the ESPN app had the start time of a game today off by an hour as well.
Does anyone have any ideas as to how to fix this?
Edit: To clarify, the times are wrong for US cities that do observe DST, such as New York, Chicago, etc.
After upgrade IOS 8.1.1 I have no service in my IPhone 5, lost WiFi connectivity from time to time and the battery is draining within hours. I tried everything that Apple support told me to do and still did not fix the problem.

I have a Tour 9630, it uses OS 5.0.0.1030.
I've had this phone for about a year, maybe a little over a year, and it's always updated to the local time zone when I travel. It just does it automatically. When I turn the phone on when the plane lands, within a minute or two it's on local time.
This week I'm in Dallas, which is on the Central time zone, but my phone is not updating to Central -- it's still showing Eastern time, which is my "home" time zone.
I looked at the settings in the setup wizard and "update time zone automatically" is selected. But it's not updating.
I've turned the phone off and on again. I've taken the battery out and replaced it, letting the phone reboot.
If I have the cell turned off and a message comes after turning on, I don't know when it was sent. Is it possible to find it out?

I noticed a couple times this week where I doing something on the phone, and look up and my clock is like 15 min (or whatever) behind. Not sure if it's related but it seems to happen when I lose connectivity in so much as everything says I'm connected to WIFI or LTE but no data is moving. I'll have to keep an eye for that one but the time thing has me concerned.
