Jul 7, 2010I'm have two accounts (gmail + work email) that both have incorrect times for both inbox AND sent folder. I send an email from my phone and it shows the time as 1 hour behind but shows up in my inbox on my computer as the correct time. When I check the connection info, that is correct. So I'm guessing it's an issue with my phone's clock? I have it set to local time and automatic time update is turned on as well. I use mail for exchange to sync my calendar with google calendar and the times there are correct there too. I've uninstalled and reinstalled a few times and also have reset the data. It was working correctly prior to my most recent hard reset (obv N97). Can anyone point me to any setting that I may be overlooking?

May 8, 2010I've had a nokia 5800 for about 6 or 7 months now. when I got the phone I turned on the automatic time update and it kept time really well. Then it got to about november last year and suddenly it jumped ahead 1 hour. Now every morning I have to turn on auto update (since the phone wont keep time without it), let the time update, change the time back one hour and tell it I havn't changed time zones. I live in Perth Western Australia and we dont use daylight savings so I dont know what is going on with it.

Jun 13, 2011When syncing my BB to desktop Outlook calendar with new appointments by USB cable, the appointment time on the BB is exactly one hour later than when its scheduled in Outlook. So, an appt for 10:00 am on my desktop shows as 11:00 am on my BB. Its true whether the appt was entered on my BB or in Outlook calendar. I currently use Outlook 2007 on my desktop with Windows XP, have BB Curve 8530 Version 5.0 with Verizon and use BB desktop software version 6.1.0.35.

Jun 6, 2012Suddenly, I noticed my time was off by 1 hour. I didn't touch any of the time settings that I knew of....I went into the setting screen for the clock and where it used to say Eastern Time zone now says daylight savings time. Page further into the time settings, I got to the time set page which showed the correct time was set.I backed back out to the clock screen only to see it still showing 1 hour off... I shut the watch off and restarted it... After doing so, the time was now correct..

Mar 23, 2010Sony Erickson X Peria X2. Just bought an X Peria X2 for $650 CD N, Yesterday having a few small problems questions. Question 1: How do I change the time from 24 hour clock to a 12 hour clock? I've gone into Settings -> System Settings -> Regional Settings and changed it from HH:mm:SS to H:mm:SS and turned the phone off then on. Tried other way around and it stays a 24 hour clock. The time style example doesn't change between the two options, it stays 24 hour clock.
Question 2: How do I access the Memory card on my computer. I installed Windows Mobile Center on Windows 7. I can access the Phones Memory but not the memory card itself where all the pictures and stuff are.
Question 3: The time of sending and receiving texts is different for me. I'll send a text at 13:33 and she replays 10 seconds later but the phone says she replied at 9:33, when it should be 13:33 as well as it was sent and received at the same time. This happens with everyone I text. Not a big deal but annoying as I wont know the correct time they text ed me back.
Question 4: Everything seems to kinda run a little slow when opening things etc.... I have checked task manager and nothing else is running data is off everything, but still pretty slow. I watched a video saying that It will receive an update this month but when I go to Sony website they only have the X1 on there not the X2 for some stupid reason.

May 26, 2010I have a small problem with the message details on text messages specially the time. When I receive text messages, it shows the right time (current time) in the inbox but when I try to check the time with message details, Its late by 4 Hours. I tried using my time zone, turn off autoupdate, etch and it seems nothing happened, its still the same. I Hope you know a way to fix this one or if you can make or find a way to fix this.

Jun 19, 2010I'm a new user to nokia E72, though i have been using nokia phones for about 5 years now. when i receive a text message while my e72 was switched off, it doesn't show the exact time the sender sent the message. instead it shows the time the text message receieved to my phone when i switch on my device. as an example i swtiched off my phone at 10pm night and my friend sent me a message at 11 pm.. and then i switch on the phone again at 12 midnight and i recieve his message at 12.01am and in it time stamp it shows the message receieved at 12.01am instead the correct time when my friend sent me the message at 11pm i have checked this with other nokia phones example 6630 and so on. in them it shows the exact time the sender sent the message what's wrong in my nokia E72? how can i correct it?

It would be fantastic to know the msg was sent at 10am and now being 2:30pm, I can have a better reply. It's definitely with the phone, because I know a few of the people have the same service provider but different phones. When messages are received on my wifes phone, it shows when they were sent, not the current time. I've looked at my settings but do not see a way to change this, is there a way?

May 10, 2010I have just bought a Nokia 6700 Slide and I'm quite satisfied but I have a little problem with it :
I had a lot of Nokia and on each one, you had the possibility to put the date and hour as a screen saver. But with my Nokia 6700 Slide, I just don't find the way to configure it. On the stand-by mode the screen is just black when the keypad is locked.
I went back to the shop where i bought it, the guy tried to configure it and he couldn't so he decided to change the mobile phone by a new one because he said all the nokia mobile phones do it so it's a bug. But with the new one, it's the same problem, the seller configured the 6700 slide with the "date" screen saver and nothing except black screen. I went back home and install 2 another free screen saver : cClcok and Largetime and it is the same ! black screen !
So I called nokia hot line and they could'nt help me because this phone is too recent, they hadn't one at this moment to try...
