I am syncing iTunes playlists plus one WMP playlist. Inspire 4G on Win 7 with latest versions of everything. Every time I connect to HTCSync it thinks it needs to sync all my music again. Takes a looooooong time. Sync's the same songs over and over. Does not sync all of the WMP songs in the playlist. 8GB chip with 2.1 GB free so I don't think room is an issue.
View 1 RepliesThe other day I went to look at my phone and it was off. I never turn off my phone, and the battery was around 80% when I had left it only an hour before. Since that day, the phone seems to shut off at random times when the battery shows okay. I can be texting someone or just looking through contacts and it just shuts off. when I try to restart it sometimes it stays on for a bit, but sometimes I have to plug it in just long enough for it to boot and then unplug it and it can be good for hours. I drained the battery down to nothing and then fully recharged it in hopes that it would work, but it keeps doing the same thing..?

To be honest I've noticed this problem with different smartphones Pantech Duo (windows mobile) , and now my HTC Inspire (froyo 2.2) and also different types and brands of bluetooth headphones but currently my problem is with the Jabra BT620s. While listening to music they work fine but if i pause the music for a min or 2 the headphones won't reconnect I have to turn them off then back on, or if they are in standby for a while the phone shows they are connected but there is no sound when i restart my music or when a call comes in. I've seen this problem all over the internet but no solutions.

I went to a different time zone last month and of course changed my clock on my Curve 8520 to that zone (6 hours ahead of my home zone EST). Of course when I returned I changed back. Since then every time I sync to my computer the zone changes to a different time (7 hours behind my zone). Also now after a sync when I click on the clock icon it shows 2 analog clocks. One large one with the new wrong time and a small one to the left showing the correct time. After I reset the time I get only one large analog clock showing the correct time until I resync again.I have checked and rechecked the settings. I have changed the date/time source setting from 'Blackberry' Network Time to 'Network' Time and this does not make any difference. I've pulled the battery. I've reset the sync maagement options.What a pain having to change the time every time I sync. I've called my service provider (rogers) and they went through the same steps I have already tried.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just bought a Nokia 5530 Xpress Music and tried out syncing my phone's files using Ovi Suite so I can easily retrieve them if ever they get deleted when I update my phone's firmware. When I synced my files, everything else worked fine except for the music files and these are the following problems I encountered: Ovi Suite did not only copy my phone's music files to my pc, it also copied all the music files of my pc to my phone at the same time. This shouldn't happen right? Because I'm only trying to sync my phone's files to my computer, and not transfer files from my computer to my phone so it should only copy all the songs in my 5530 to Ovi Suite.

I wanted to put music on my phone so i went out and bought a micro sd card and tried to load music onto it using a usb to connect to my phone. I've tried literally just about everything. I switched over to USB Mass Storage mode and created a music folder and etc, etc,. But even after i put a couple of songs on the thing my phone still says there's nothing there. I also tried doing the Nokia Ovi Suite thing and apparently my phone model isn't compatible with it. I'm completely surprised by the lack of support from the manufacturing website.

View 2 Replies View RelatedIn the past week or so, I have noticed that my Outlook (for Mac 2011) calendar is syncing to the wrong day on my Curve. All of the inconsistencies appear to be custom reoccurring appointments (every fourth Monday etc.). All of these reoccurring appointment seem to land on the first week of the month - so a fourth Monday lands on the first Monday etc. This seemed to happen before I attempted to resync the device.
I have backed up my Curve, deleted the calendar files and resynced the files. I am using BB dektop software 2.1.3.
I just bought a new vehicle and synced up my Icon via the Bluetooth. Everything seems to have connected (contacts, Xbox music). The only problem is that old folders of music (pre Xbox music)that I used to have, but deleted are also synced up.
