I have a limited data plan with AT&T and wanted to know if the phone automatically begins using my home's WiFi when I'm at home or do I have to tell it to start using the WiFi instead of AT&T?

View 9 Replies View RelatedThe other day I went to look at my phone and it was off. I never turn off my phone, and the battery was around 80% when I had left it only an hour before. Since that day, the phone seems to shut off at random times when the battery shows okay. I can be texting someone or just looking through contacts and it just shuts off. when I try to restart it sometimes it stays on for a bit, but sometimes I have to plug it in just long enough for it to boot and then unplug it and it can be good for hours. I drained the battery down to nothing and then fully recharged it in hopes that it would work, but it keeps doing the same thing..?

To be honest I've noticed this problem with different smartphones Pantech Duo (windows mobile) , and now my HTC Inspire (froyo 2.2) and also different types and brands of bluetooth headphones but currently my problem is with the Jabra BT620s. While listening to music they work fine but if i pause the music for a min or 2 the headphones won't reconnect I have to turn them off then back on, or if they are in standby for a while the phone shows they are connected but there is no sound when i restart my music or when a call comes in. I've seen this problem all over the internet but no solutions.

I updated it to the latest firmware via kies as well. Edit: Phone is not rooted and alarm clock plus is also another app that randomly starts.

However, after I have set up Nokia Messaging with 4 hour sync the wifi keeps turning on by itself. Even if I disconnect the active connection it turns on automatically within a couple of minutes.Nokia Messaging pops up every four hours asking if it can use the wifi. Even if I have terminated the active wifi a couple of minutes earlier, it will turn on as soon as I select "Cancel" for the popup from Nokia Messaging.
