So I click to text, and my keyboard comes up. If i turn it sideways, it doesn't rotate. I recalibrated it, and turned autotilt on in the display settings. If i reboot my phone, it works, but stops working after a while.
View 1 RepliesThe other day I went to look at my phone and it was off. I never turn off my phone, and the battery was around 80% when I had left it only an hour before. Since that day, the phone seems to shut off at random times when the battery shows okay. I can be texting someone or just looking through contacts and it just shuts off. when I try to restart it sometimes it stays on for a bit, but sometimes I have to plug it in just long enough for it to boot and then unplug it and it can be good for hours. I drained the battery down to nothing and then fully recharged it in hopes that it would work, but it keeps doing the same thing..?

To be honest I've noticed this problem with different smartphones Pantech Duo (windows mobile) , and now my HTC Inspire (froyo 2.2) and also different types and brands of bluetooth headphones but currently my problem is with the Jabra BT620s. While listening to music they work fine but if i pause the music for a min or 2 the headphones won't reconnect I have to turn them off then back on, or if they are in standby for a while the phone shows they are connected but there is no sound when i restart my music or when a call comes in. I've seen this problem all over the internet but no solutions.

I am looking to keep this on when the screen is on...I can't believe it uses THAT much power, and it's nearly impossible to see the menu bars otherwise.tings? Market Aps, etc? View 1 Replies View RelatedI am syncing iTunes playlists plus one WMP playlist. Inspire 4G on Win 7 with latest versions of everything. Every time I connect to HTCSync it thinks it needs to sync all my music again. Takes a looooooong time. Sync's the same songs over and over. Does not sync all of the WMP songs in the playlist. 8GB chip with 2.1 GB free so I don't think room is an issue.

Camera will display the button to take a photo, flash button and the button to swap camera views upside down and save the picture in the camera roll upside down even if i hold the phone sideways or vertical. Text messages will show up in landscape even holding the phone vertical also and safari wont switch out of landscape mode also. If i reboot the phone it all works perfect but then switches back to the problems after a few minutes.

But when I go to share the picture either via MMS, uploading to an app, or uploading to a webpage, the image appears on the page but has been rotated 90 degrees. It doesn't happen all the time, but enough to be annoying. Somewhere between the gallery and the upload, the picture gets rotated. But if I go into my gallery, the picture is fine. It's only on the site/app that it was uploaded to that it rotates on its own.

Sometimes, when I open the camera (Pro, Smart, stock, whatever), the camera doesn't detect that I'm holding the phone in landscape. It takes the picture, but of course it's 90 degrees wrong in the Camera Roll, and I have to manually rotate it later.
It's generally fixed with a power cycle (turn off then turn on). It'll work for a few hours and then get "stuck" in portrait mode again.
