HTC Inspire 4G :: Inspire Is Repeatedly Turning Off When Battery Level Is Good?
Sep 5, 2011The other day I went to look at my phone and it was off. I never turn off my phone, and the battery was around 80% when I had left it only an hour before. Since that day, the phone seems to shut off at random times when the battery shows okay. I can be texting someone or just looking through contacts and it just shuts off. when I try to restart it sometimes it stays on for a bit, but sometimes I have to plug it in just long enough for it to boot and then unplug it and it can be good for hours. I drained the battery down to nothing and then fully recharged it in hopes that it would work, but it keeps doing the same thing..?

Jul 27, 2011Has anyone experienced issues with their Bluetooth stereo headphones. To be honest I've noticed this problem with different smartphones Pantech Duo (windows mobile) , and now my HTC Inspire (froyo 2.2) and also different types and brands of bluetooth headphones but currently my problem is with the Jabra BT620s. While listening to music they work fine but if i pause the music for a min or 2 the headphones won't reconnect I have to turn them off then back on, or if they are in standby for a while the phone shows they are connected but there is no sound when i restart my music or when a call comes in. I've seen this problem all over the internet but no solutions.

Jul 23, 2010I've been considering the need to get a decent Bluetooth headset for use in the car if I get bored on long journeys. But there's many on the market ranging from cheap as chips to bloody expensive, so what ones do people reccomend for use in the car? Ideally it would need to be easy to operate while driving, have decent reception and clarity and if it comes with a holder you can mount on the dashboard, even better as I could use the phone for Google Navigation and sell my TomTom if need be!
Also cases, similar issue. At the moment I use those clear plastic ones you clip on each side that you get for like 2 quid on Ebay. They work great and have protected the phone from many a fall. Problem is, grime shows up on the plastic very clearly and you get dust/hair/dirt getting clogged underneath the plastic case. So I'm thinking of spending the case to get something half decent that won't impede the phon'es ability to sit in my trouser/jean pocket with headphones on a bike.

Apr 20, 2010I know there are multiple threads out there discussing this and I looked at most of them but this is different. My 9700 has gotten great battery life since day one, but this weekend I went out to the desert and didn't use my phone much because I only had EDGE but it was dropping in and out constantly, I had a full charge on Thursday morning and when I got home Saturday afternoon I had 20% which is pretty damn good I'm not complaining about that. When I got home I charged it fully and then on the middle of the day on Sunday my batter was almost dead. Same thing Monday and same thing today. I fully charged it yesterday afternoon and this morning it was at 25% and I hardly used my phone yesterday. SOMETHING has happened to my battery life, I'm running 5.0.0593 which hasn't ever gotten me fantastic battery life but its been okay but now its just shot.
I haven't changed anything on my BB for this to happen so I'm posting here for ideas of what could be causing this, I've looked at programs running closed everything I can and do not have WIFI or bluetooth on and Have constant good 3G reception.

Aug 28, 2011New user to HTC Inspire 4G. Know about the light sensor and that in bright-ish light, the menu bar turns off. I am looking to keep this on when the screen is on...I can't believe it uses THAT much power, and it's nearly impossible to see the menu bars otherwise.tings? Market Aps, etc? Aug 4, 2011I am syncing iTunes playlists plus one WMP playlist. Inspire 4G on Win 7 with latest versions of everything. Every time I connect to HTCSync it thinks it needs to sync all my music again. Takes a looooooong time. Sync's the same songs over and over. Does not sync all of the WMP songs in the playlist. 8GB chip with 2.1 GB free so I don't think room is an issue.
