Feb 15, 2010On the Tattoo it shows that the phone is connected. Sync says the phone is connected... but neither Synchronize Now or Synchronize manager do anything.

HTC Tattoo :: USB Connection: "Do Nothing" Option?
Feb 24, 2010Whenever I connect my Tattoo to a USB port, it asks if I want to to File Transfer, Sync or Share Internet Connection.I want to do none of these things - usually I just want to charge the phone! Is there a way to allow the Tattoo connect silently to a machine by default without insisting on one of the above (and then throwing an error...)

Feb 23, 2010I've been an owner of a HTC tattoo for a couple of months now and suddenly it doesn't want to register the SIM card, it just says "no SIM card in phone"
Is this something relatively common or is it likely to be a technical issue?
I will admit to have dropped it one floor onto a spiral staircase, but that happened about a month before it stopped working
And I do actually have a SIM card inside the phone

Apr 4, 2010I'm wondering how I can insert a contact into an SMS. I tried inserting vCard, however the phone seem to convert my SMS to MMS automatically. Since I haven't activated that service, my sending fails. On the other hand, I'm able to view and import vCards I receive (I'm sure my friends are not using MMS either). Is there an easier way to insert contacts other than copying and pasting them?

When the phone is locked the "normal" way to unlock it is to slide down the screen with your finger, the problem is that it also unlocks just by pressing the menu key. No need to do anything else.A frequent situation: make a call, lock the phone, and put it inside a bag (hand bag). In this case it's extremely easy for the phone to call anyone in your list of recent calls. After a random period of time (1 second to several hours) all web pages hang. PC Suite "One Touch Access" shows as still connected. Windows 7 network monitor shows no network activity even when you try to refresh web pages. Solution is to press disconnect and then connect on the One Touch Access screen.

I want to take this phone to Europe to work WiFi and possibly a European Sim Card. I worked with Verizon and the phone is unlocked. I took it to Verizon, and they, as I had done, connected to a WiFi network (ID above clock in white), data and roaming turned off, and received a "success" on setting up. I noticed the "WiFi" symbol is a dull white, as opposed to the network name which is bright white. I go to the browser and it allows me to put in a URL, but when I try to go there, "Internet is not available, check with provider". The browser is set to Hotspot. I have removed the battery to no avail, and have done a security wipe, but the results are the same.Is there a setting I am missing, or something else basic I have overlooked?

IPhone 5s :: IOS 7.1 / WiFi Drops After Frequently But Shows Connected
Jun 2, 2014Since the time I purchased my iPhone 5s, I have been facing this problem with Wi-fi. The first two times I went to the customer service, I was told it could be a problem with my modem. Even I thought my modem is the problem, but my andriod mobile does not give any issues as such. The problems I am facing with the Wi-fi is listed below.Â
1. Wifi shows connected, but actually it is not connected. I have too reset my network connections to use the internet. Even then, after some time it stops working.
2. After resetting my network, it works fine for some time, then it disconnects automatically.
3. The wifi speed is very slow compared to my low end andriod phone also.
4. Because of this, I cannot use apps like Facebook, WhatsApp, iPhone AppStore properly. I need to renew lease or rest my network.Â
I have been to the AASP (Imagine, Forum Mall, Bangalore) three times now and everytime they tell is the problem has been rectified reinstalling the software and tested using multiple wifi networks. All they do is reinstall the software and reset the network. It works fine for a day or two. Then the problem starts again.Â
Is there a software to identify if the Wi-fi is connected or not (Other then the icon on the home screen). I want to monitor when it drops, so that I can actually report this the customer service, so that they rectify the problem. Reinstalling the OS is not the solution for this, which solves the problem only for a short period of time.

But to get the phone to use it for BIS I have to turn off the mobile network and then turn the mobile network back on. But after a few mins it goes back to using the mobile network for BIS and stops using the wifi and it does not go back to using the wifi until I turn off the mobile network again.
