Yesterday run my battery empty and tattoo switched off. When I was home and inserted the loading cable and started the device, it was resetted to factory defaults. All contacts, adjustments and apps gone!
View 2 RepliesI have a Blackberry curve 8300 that I have decommissioned. However, I left some data on it that requires recovery. Funny things is I forgot the password. I do have a backup of the data so I all need to do is figure or get told how to set the device to factory defaults so I can reload the system with the application that is storing the data I need.

I was wondering if there is a simple way I can attach my device to my computer and restore it to factory defaults (software wise). Reflashing the device does [i]not[/i] restore all default settings. I want to remove all user added/edited files as well as restore the default partition layout of the device.

I changed my log history to one dayI moved all contacts and messages to my memory cardI reset the phone to factory defaults (my code was 11111 as default btw, not 12345 as suggested).
After powering up my newly restored handset I'm saddened to say that it's just as slow as before and is driving me nuts! Does anybody have any other ideas I could try?
I reset my iPhone to factory settings and all went well. However, before I did so, I forgot that I had put it in airplane mode and didn't switch it out. Airplane mode is still on and there's no way to get it out. What's the big deal? Well it's trying to reactivate my phone and it won't activate it without the antennas on...and I can't get to the Settings to disable Airplane mode because it's in that iOS 5 initial set up. I can't get past it at all to?How can I get this Airplane mode disabled so it can activate? I tried activating through iTunes and it didn't work. It is not jailbroken or anything.

However, now I can't download apps from OVI that I have downloaded before the restoration to factory defaults. I can download other apps from OVI fine. Only the apps that I previously downloaded have the "Download" button disabled or grayed out.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI went to reset my BB and wanted to "WIPE" out everything and start from factory defaults with no applications on it. Been having some weird problems. Since I've done this, everytime I log into the BB using a "new" password all the time, I get into the BB no problem. But when I turn on the wireless, it'll take about 30 seconds and it'll rewipe the device and restart again into this vicious cycle. Don't know what to do now.
I am now re-reading the 'WIPE' option and it shows that if you select to wipe the Email and Contacts, it says you can't do this anymore. I need to resync my BB with enterprise activation to my work email and contacts.
I forget my keystore password. How can I reset it without reset the phone to factory defaults. I have an BB 9300.

II've had my iPhone 4s for a year and 3 months so it is out of warranty. It was working fine yesterday, it died yesterday evening and when I put it on charge it was coming up with the empty battery like normal as if it was charging but not getting any more charge. I left it over night and still didn't turn on. Today I've tried loads of different chargers USB wires, everything. It's not registering when I plug it into a computer but still coming up with the empty battery!
i am desperate for it to work as it is the only way I have of contacting my partner who is serving in the Falklands at the moment! I don't care if my phone gets wiped or anything I just need to be able to use face time and get my emails on my phone!!

Well basically i have bought this amazing phone xperia play, however downside is the internal memory only 400mb ( i mean seriously) but anyway ive been 'app exploring' and downloaded so many to my sd, but some were un movable from the phone i do not know why. so upon getting full i thought it will be a good idea to give it a reboot, upon doing that, when i revisited the phone ive lost all my apps on my sd card, funny enough i still have my photos and media on the sd card.
also in the settings>applications?managing applications and in the sd section its showing 2.90 gb availible of 7.99 or somrthing, basically the apps are there but i can't view them(thats what i gatherd from this issue)

It finally came on and the apple sign was there then it turned off. I tried again a few minutes later and it was on, the battery at 81% but I couldn't slide to unlock it and I couldn't lock it again, the screeen was just on and unresponsive. I will admit to have dropped it one floor onto a spiral staircase, but that happened about a month before it stopped working

1) how to keep a song or a part of it as a ringtone? cause it offers just default ones .....
2) also how to edit a contact.... read somewhere that you need to transfer all the contacts from sim to phone...... how to do that???
