II've had my iPhone 4s for a year and 3 months so it is out of warranty. It was working fine yesterday, it died yesterday evening and when I put it on charge it was coming up with the empty battery like normal as if it was charging but not getting any more charge. I left it over night and still didn't turn on. Today I've tried loads of different chargers USB wires, everything. It's not registering when I plug it into a computer but still coming up with the empty battery!
i am desperate for it to work as it is the only way I have of contacting my partner who is serving in the Falklands at the moment! I don't care if my phone gets wiped or anything I just need to be able to use face time and get my emails on my phone!!

I went out last night, kept my iPhone in my bra (maybe this is an important detail? idk) and when I got in the car my iPhone screen wasn't coming on for a while. It finally came on and the apple sign was there then it turned off. I tried again a few minutes later and it was on, the battery at 81% but I couldn't slide to unlock it and I couldn't lock it again, the screeen was just on and unresponsive. Now it's just not responding at all and it won't charge (i tried 2 different USB cables) and it won't connect to the computer.

Nor did taking the battery out and putting it back in again. I then tried to plug it int the mains and a red light flashed on it for 15 or so seconds and a empty battery sign with a red cross came on screen. Heres the scoop, never had any battery issues with my tour before, I'm running .419 with a Driphter hybrid, I've had this running for a few months now never had drain issues till recently. I wake up to find my phone drained from meterberry reading 68% when I went to bed to 5% when I woke up. I have not installed any new apps. The phone seems to take extremely long to charge and I am draining on average between 15% and above 20% at times I can't figure out what happened. You think its time for a new battery?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have installed the Blackberry messenger on my Bold 9000. It's fully functional.I have 4 small icons now, indicating that I have new messages, but I can't find any new once.
Looking into this matter I found that in my Application Center, the BB Messenger is listed as "not installed" even though I installed it. Re-install also hasn't helped.i cannot delete it as "delete" is not listed in the menu. I'm also not able to see the application using teh Desktop Manager.
so my question are:
1) How can I find out what are the 4 icons indicating?
2) How can de-install my messenger now to just start from scratch?
I used to have these thousands of empty playlists in my iTunes and a simple script fixed this for me several times.But now I see those exact same playlists ONLY on my iPhone so I tried to run that script but nothing happens because it only works for iTunes.Anyone an idea how to get all of these empty playlists gone at once?

I always have the iPhone App Store Genius recommendations turned on by default. Always worked fine until today, when I got the message "You do not currently have any recommendations". Strange, as I have 5 pages of apps. Logged into my account, turned Genius off, turned it back on again, agreed to terms and conditions etc, but the Genius recommendations page is still empty. I have a lot of music that I put on my iPhone 4 using my old computer. And I have not synced my phone since. I have not been able to access that music for a few days now. I did still have access to all the music that I purchased from iTunes and all the music that I uploaded to the cloud using iTunes match on my new computer. But now apparently my music folder is completely empty.

when i doublepress the home button and the multitasking drawer opens up, it appears to be empty. i can tell this is a problem because when i use sbsettings and check the running processes, i see many apps are still running. at the very least i should see ipod controls in the drawer.this wasnt always the case, i know that right when i finished jailbreaking (before i synced all my apps over itunes) i did see ipod controls and sms in the drawer (those were the only 2 apps i tried before doing that initial sync). i then synced over any apps i had but failed to install anything that was from installous (depending on appsync). that was expected. i think (not sure really) that when the official apps loaded i was still able to have apps appear in the multitasking drawer. i think installed aptbackup from cydia and tried to restore all. i manually chose installous and appsync 4.0 from cydia because i noticed that they didnt install after the restore all. i then synced again with itunes. now i got all my installous apps back on the phone. this is when i checked the multitasking drawer again and i didnt have any icons! so i am going to assume its one of the cydia packages thats giving me this issue. i was hoping someone here might have a clue as to which package might cause this. i got a list of all my packages i am sharing below:

edit: i just noticed that the package for appsync31 looks like its still installed which is probably a bad thing. when i go through cydia it is not installed, this is the output of dpkg so i trust that this is accurate. any idea of how to remove that package without cydia?
edit 2: now i'm not really sure what is going on with that package, i am trying to use dpkg to remove it but this is what i get when i try to find out the status of that package

Old folders bring up prior emails but inbox remains totally empty. I've tried several hard restarts & deleting and reinstalling Yahoo email account. Â
I'm still on the road and don't have access to my main computer to back up. I can pull up Yahoo mail in Safari and read emails from Yahoo's website fine. Â
