My phone reset itself and I lost all my contacts, so I started adding a few which worked OK, but now when I try to add and link to facebook and save contacts it appears to work (saving via the messages screen or via people) but if I exit out of people or messages then go back in the contact disappears.

Since I haven't activated that service, my sending fails. On the other hand, I'm able to view and import vCards I receive (I'm sure my friends are not using MMS either). View 5 Replies View RelatedJust purchased an iPhone 5s today. After I had synced my new phone, I noticed that my old iPhone did not save my calendar or contacts from my old phone to iCloud. So, I backed it up and it said iCloud backed up at 9:22pm (my old phone). I called tech support and she said the information was saved in iCloud. However, when I try to sync the new phone in iTunes there is no calendar and my old data from April of 2013 (this is when the last back up was) is downloading to the new phone! I went to the iCloud website and low and behold the old info is still there??? I am so confused and ****** because now I guess I have to manually enter all my calendar events (except for birthdays) on the new phone??

For all the others I have tried thus far, I select the ringtone that I want, hit OK and it goes back to the default ringtone. This is strictly the Phone Contact list. I am not using any social networking apps at this time. I do use the Verizon Backup Assistant for my contacts, but that has never been an issue on any of my previous phones. This is the same contact list that was restored from my old phone to this one and the contacts have not changed.

When the phone is locked the "normal" way to unlock it is to slide down the screen with your finger, the problem is that it also unlocks just by pressing the menu key. No need to do anything else.A frequent situation: make a call, lock the phone, and put it inside a bag (hand bag). In this case it's extremely easy for the phone to call anyone in your list of recent calls.
