Nov 27, 2011I am new to this so don't mock now... how do I save all my contacts to my pc? I have the software now so what is the step by step **bleep** proof way of doing this

Jun 17, 2010My phone reset itself and I lost all my contacts, so I started adding a few which worked OK, but now when I try to add and link to facebook and save contacts it appears to work (saving via the messages screen or via people) but if I exit out of people or messages then go back in the contact disappears.

Aug 29, 2014Just purchased an iPhone 5s today. After I had synced my new phone, I noticed that my old iPhone did not save my calendar or contacts from my old phone to iCloud. So, I backed it up and it said iCloud backed up at 9:22pm (my old phone). I called tech support and she said the information was saved in iCloud. However, when I try to sync the new phone in iTunes there is no calendar and my old data from April of 2013 (this is when the last back up was) is downloading to the new phone! I went to the iCloud website and low and behold the old info is still there??? I am so confused and ****** because now I guess I have to manually enter all my calendar events (except for birthdays) on the new phone??

Every time i create a new contact, it comes up at the top as Google Contact and when i create the contact it gets saved to google account.If i delete the google contact, all the contacts gets deleted too. For all the others I have tried thus far, I select the ringtone that I want, hit OK and it goes back to the default ringtone. This is strictly the Phone Contact list. I am not using any social networking apps at this time. I do use the Verizon Backup Assistant for my contacts, but that has never been an issue on any of my previous phones. This is the same contact list that was restored from my old phone to this one and the contacts have not changed.

Jul 8, 2012I updated the software on my phone a few weeks ago, which resulted in the phone turning itself off constantly. However, when I take a picture it looks as if its saved, but when I go to the media files a little later all I see is a picture icon not the actual picture.
When I use the video camera it seems to save and I have been able to view once or twice, but after a period of time the file turns into a music file with no video. This has resulted in several videos of my baby daughter being lost and being replace by the same music.
I have followed the advice on the forum by deleting .dat files from the folders. This has resulted in the pictures taken since the upgrade disappearing altogether. The only way I can keep a picture is by emailing it to myself instantly.
