IPhone :: Photos Not Saving To Camera Roll
May 26, 2012I've run into a situation where the photos taken by the camera app are not saving to the camera roll, however strangely, the photos are still visible through the review mode in the actual camera app, and also when plugged into pc they are visible in the photos folder? Additionally, they are still visible by location under the places tab in the photos app, which suggests they are definitely there. I can still remove them from the iPhone but still have the issue of not being able to edit or view actually on the iPhone. What should I do? Using 4s on 5.1.1.

Aug 3, 2014i have noticed that, when im taking a Photo with SmartCam, and later im going to save my edited Photo. I can only save one edited Photo from the original file. How can i save 2 different edited Photos? When i go back and i want to edit/save another Photo from the original file, it always overwrites the last saved/edited Photo.
When i take a Photo and i edit it, for example i zoom into a area, and save that zoomed part, it always replace the last edited Photo from the original file.

Sep 8, 2011On sunday my phone was water damaged in an accident at work and wouldnt switch on again. took the sim card, memory card and battery out and left in airing cupboard to dry out over night. monday morning it started up fine and seemed to be working normally, the only problem being that the battery life is now serverely reduced. used the camera to take a photo at 12.33pm on monday, camera was working fine. last night (wed) i downloaded an app called who is it led and also noticed another app had appeared which was a free torch light, which eminated light from the camera flash. i then went to use my camera, the screen comes up with the geotagging location and menu bar at the bottom but says cannot load camera due to another appliction being open. check and retry to open camera and same message again. then uninstall the who is it led and the free torch app and reboot. try to load camera and the menus come up but the screen is totally blank and the camera soft key on the touch screen wont work. tried rebooting, taken battery out and sim card again several times but still no joy.

Next is when you take picture. When u go to photo albums. You see a link below saying open in Nokia camera. How come pics have that link and others don't? I took some smartcam pics too look at later and can't open it up and do the action shots and other stuff.

Mar 26, 2015Saving to my internal memory works fine. Saving to the SD card receives a "Media not Found" error message and no photo is saved. I can view and use all other photos and apps that are saved on my SD card, so it is loaded correctly.

I read somewhere that the iPhone would take a minumum of at least three. All I get is two now?

Mar 28, 2012I know I am not using my iPhone correctly, but I am a busy mother and have been stacking up the photos on Camera Roll. I now need to delete some, but want to keep some to show friends.
1) How do you transfer photos from Camera Roll to an album using the phone?
2) When I sync and photos are downloaded from my camera roll I get a pop up asking if I want to keep or delete the photos on my phone. If I choose Delete, will it delete just the photos in Camera Roll, or in the albums too?
3) I have chosen Keep in the past and now have masses of photos on my camera roll. Short of using the curved arrow in the top right and selecting each photo individually, is there a way to delete multiple photos all at once on the phone (not on computer)?
4) Why oh why haven't Apple got a 'protect' button for individual photos so that you can keep a few photos in camera roll and delete the rest, like on a digital camera (yes I KNOW this isn't what Camera Roll is for...)

Aug 28, 2014I recently got a new PC. I have a ton of photos synched to my iPhone, and I do NOT want to lose them when I sync my iPhone again. I thought I had backed them up on a hard drive, but I am not able to find them. They had previously been saved in Windows Photo something, and were synced the iPhone through that. The only thing I can think to do is send the photos to myself via e-mail before syncing the iPhone, but that would take hours to do. Is there any other choice?Â
I DID back up a lot of the music and podcasts from my old iPhone on an external hard drive. How do I get it back into iTunes? There are also tons of lyrics and album artwork with it, so I'd rather not lose those either, and I really don't want to load each CD again!Â

Sep 19, 2011I have recently got a C3-01 phone. I saved some photos of my baby son to the My Albums folder. I then deleted the photos from "Photos" on the display. However, it deleted the ones I had saved in the newly created album. These are now lost, which was very upsetting for me and my wife. Am I doing something wrong or are you not able to manage your photos in this way?

Oct 24, 2011all the recent photos that I have taken apparently do not show up when trying to view them on my PC. I am using a PNY MicroSDHC Class 10 SD Card. I only noticed this just now when trying to transfer some of my recent photo images to my pc - unfortunately, they are only in thumbnail size.I can view the DCIM.thumbnails but they (large 8mp size jpg) are missing in the DCIMCamera folder. > this is examined when plugging into PC (USB Mass Storage)I tried searching the entire photon for the JPG's by date but the full size ones are not there. Only the thumbnails of the recent and old and old large size photos are there.
I took a few shots right now and the same thing is happening. I have set the camera to save on SD card.All my past images/videos and files/documents are still viewable in full size on the SD card via windows explorer. I tried to power down and remove-reinsert SD card but the recent images in full size are not there.I did a search via windows explorer for all JPEGs on the entire drive but it seems all of the recent photos I took are not there, only the thumbnail files.Also, I had purchased this card "as is" new and never did any formating - it seemed to have worked okay up until now.

Other camera apps easily allow to do so but Camera Zoom is still operating in the KitKat days. Whenever I try to set the save location it seems to think my phone still has KitKat and will not allow it to save to my SD card. Other camera apps do let me save to the SD card.

Nov 19, 2010I have used Sony Ericsson phones for years and all my previous phones have had a feature on the camera whereby you could zoom in on a photograph you've taken, and then save the zoomed/close-up image as a seperate photograph.
If this feature exists on the Mini Pro, I certainly can't find it. I took a photo with the camera of something quite far away. The camera will let me zoom in on the bit of the image I want to see, and will allow me to view it, but I want to save the zoomed image. The far-away image is useless to me.
