I'm wondering how I can insert a contact into an SMS. I tried inserting vCard, however the phone seem to convert my SMS to MMS automatically. Since I haven't activated that service, my sending fails. On the other hand, I'm able to view and import vCards I receive (I'm sure my friends are not using MMS either). Is there an easier way to insert contacts other than copying and pasting them?
View 4 RepliesOn the Tattoo it shows that the phone is connected. Sync says the phone is connected... but neither Synchronize Now or Synchronize manager do anything.
View 3 Replies View RelatedMy phone reset itself and I lost all my contacts, so I started adding a few which worked OK, but now when I try to add and link to facebook and save contacts it appears to work (saving via the messages screen or via people) but if I exit out of people or messages then go back in the contact disappears.

Is this something relatively common or is it likely to be a technical issue?
I will admit to have dropped it one floor onto a spiral staircase, but that happened about a month before it stopped working

1) how to keep a song or a part of it as a ringtone? cause it offers just default ones .....
2) also how to edit a contact.... read somewhere that you need to transfer all the contacts from sim to phone...... how to do that???

When I connect my phone to the computer (macbook, using OSX 10.6.2), the phone does not recognize being connected to the computer, and the computer does not show the phone as a connected disk drive like it is supposed to.

When the phone is locked the "normal" way to unlock it is to slide down the screen with your finger, the problem is that it also unlocks just by pressing the menu key. No need to do anything else.A frequent situation: make a call, lock the phone, and put it inside a bag (hand bag). In this case it's extremely easy for the phone to call anyone in your list of recent calls. It's happened to me a few times already.The unlock procedure should be clear: you need to drag your finger down the screen.

However if I then exit the keyboard or turn the phone into its portrait position any entered text then appears. The problem happens ntermittently and disappears if I restart the phone. View 4 Replies View Relatedi am at my wits end.I constantly get the message on my n95 8gb to 'insert sim card' this happens 10-20 times aday.The only way to resolve it is to remove the battery 10-20 times aday! There seems to be no reason for this as it can happen if left on a desk,in my pocket etc.I'm also getting the 'sim card registration failed' message now and then as well. I has install some games either from the market or through the web but somehow my phone suddenly cannot detect my SD Card. On the status bar it stated 'Remove SD Card. Insert a new one". Why this is happening? I've tried to check the card through computer and all the data still there. I've format the SD Card with fat 32 and recheck again. I've install back all the application in the card which I has back it up earlier. Through my computer the card is fine. When I insert it to the phone, is says the same.

When I try to push the SIM card into the slot only about the first three millimeters go in and then it blocks, almost as if something was was already in there.I take it that the SIM should normaly just slip in to the slot with only slight resistance. Am I missing something or have i been unlucky and the slot has a defect?The SIM is in the correct position and the right way round.

I had to restore my iphone so when I did it the phone remembered my old Apple ID. So I created an updated one etc and now it says under settings that the new one is in effect but when I go to the app store it has the old one. I have logged out etc but the old one keeps popping up when I try to update or download an app.
