HTC :: One X Music File Art?

Ok, so coming from an Apple product, I decided to give the HTC One X a thorough thrashing...now, I need my music fix so I decided to put some of the music I have onto the One X...music sounds pretty good (no equalizer) but my music art is all messed up. Now, no biggie. I went back to my music files to verify and they're all there. They were originally set at "User Defined" but I changed it to "Cover (front)".

Here's the fun part. No matter what I do, the art DOESN'T change and is stuck on art of the first music file I have in the folder/directory (/Music/Mixes). On some of the files the art is correct and others it's not.

Is there a way to correct this? The music files I have are mixes and is custom album art. I've tried editing them directly from the computer connected to the phone but since the art is embedded already, I'm under the impression that it's not showing up properly.
