When I make or receive a call and am talking on the phone, two things can happen:-
1) The keypad disappears which means if I want to end the call I need to press 'phone' to get the keypad up again to then end the call.
2) The phone locks while I am talking (but am still able to carry on the conversation). Therefore I need to unlock and then press phone to make sure I've ended a call.
Why is my screen periodically flashing on and off whilst phone is locked? There is no pattern to it and the screen will come on and then go off about 5 times and then stop.

With the old 1.6 software on my X10, the lack of an automatic screen lock when in an active call was mildly annoying, as not all areas of the screen were active. However, with the new 2.1, just about anywhere on the screen becomes active (especially when juggling two simultaneous calls).What are the chances that we'll see a 'lock screen' function for phone calls?
View 9 Replies View RelatedI have a BB 8530 on MetroPCS (CDMA) network. I saw thier was some updates for BB protect and a bunch of other apps so i updated them. After the reboot, it asked me for my keypad lock pass and upon entering it, it would not accept it. I know that what i am entering is correct as i entered it prior to the reboot.
i have tried diffrent variations of it with CAPs and symbols corresponding to the keys i KNOW are my pass but still no use. I am on 9/10.
I have logged in to my BB Protect online and tried to change the pass from thier but it keeps saying the current password is wrong which is impossible. Is there some deafult password it reverted to that i can try. I have tried everything.
How do I reject an incoming call when the touch screen on the 5530 is locked? If I use the right slider switch to unlock touch screen, the call gets answered.

Sometimes the clock on the lock screen vanishes. Sometimes it shows.
I ended up doing a factory reset and that seems to have corrected the missing clock issue.
Currently, while I am talking on the phone my ear lobe or face either mutes the call, turns on the speaker phone, etc.
How do I turn off the touch screen before I start talking on the phone?
My iPhone 4 constantly "pocket dials" my contacts due to pressure on the home button whilst the screen is locked, can I turn it off?

I just bought my new E72, it shutdowns after 10 seconds or less , the screen just disappears, it's been now charging for 9 hours and still nothing happened, And after I plug the charger it also takes less than 10 seconds and the screen disappears too.

It would need to be a function to switch on and off, as you may need to use the screen to turn hands free on etc.
