Xperia Pro/Neo/V/L :: Touch Screen Does Not Shut Off Properly While Talking?
Nov 24, 2011
Neo V touch screen does not shut off properly when I initiate a call or receive a call. While I am talking, due to the touch of my face on the screen, some other actions gets triggered like mute, or calling some other contacts etc. It is very irritating and scary to keep on checking whether the phone has gone into mute mode or not while talking.
My Xperia Z3+ is not working properly. The touchscreen works at random on its own and most of times won't work especially on the corner ends both bottom and up...Plus when I try to slide the it doesn't work either.Continues even after removing all the covers and cleaning and so on..
Since today I have a problem with the touch screen. Â It's just not recoginzing properly the placement of fingers on the screen. Â This makes it a rail pain to write a message on the keyboard. For example I try to hit one letter and 2 or 3 will activate at the same time. Â An other example would be in the Facebook app it's almost impossible to hit a like button.
I have recently got a symbol in the top left hand side of my screen. Since i got it i have lost the ability to text using the touch screen , also i have lost the smiley face applicaion.
The main screen sometimes flickers too. The symbol is like a wedge with a rectangle shape sat on top with a red circle beside it.
From 2 weeks i found that my touch screen doesn't work properly from the top left part. All the touch among the whole sceen works good except this part it work when i restart my phone and then doesn't work.My phone is Z5
My mom´s Blackberry Torch 9800 (Carrier is Claro Brasil and the OS is updated to 6.0 Bundle 2647) isn´t working properly. Sometimes the touch screen doesn´t work and sometimes is works but not in a perfect way. When I try to type some numbers to dial using the virtual keyboard some keys doesn´t work out like the back button. When I type the back button the number 3 appears in the screen. I tried to downgrade and then upgrade the software using the desktop manager but this didn´t fix the problem and even after pulling the battery several times the problem remains.
I have recently cracked my HTC Touch screen and I am unable to view the screen properly, but I am still able to recieve calls/txts. Where can I get the screen repaired or learn to do it myself?
My Iphone 3GS touch screen not working properly, means sometimes it works porperly and sometimes may not. I go through thr forums then i restore my iphone, even am facing the same problem.
I just purchased a nokia lumia 800. But i have noticed a problem with the touch detection on the screen. When i swipe (ex. for scrolling on the app list) then the phone some times detects the swipe as a tap, and then might open an app og an URL, or what ever is under my finger when it happens. This behavier is very random, and usually happens at the start of swiping (eg. detects me putting my finger on the screen and not lifting it again, but swiping, as a tap).
It keeps telling me that the c: memory is full and that i should delete some items, however when i try to, there is hardly anything on the c:. Also the phone only works sporadically for about five minutes after switching on and after that the menu button and the touch screen do not work properly and i am unable to make any calls or texts, but can still recieve calls.
Also it is telling me that the sim memory is full and remains full despite deleting text messages. Has anyone else experienced such problems or know how i can fix these problems?
My Torch 9810 touch screen doesn't work properly anymore...it works each time the phone has just been freshly boot or when a battery pull has just been performed and stops afterwards until another battery pull or boot is done. is this some sort of software problem? Can it be fixed? If it can, how? I tried upgrading to OS 7.1 but the same problem persists.
When I got a connection via car bluetooth handsfree system (skoda - VW) my Z2 smartphone unblocking screen. When I have it in my pocket, It's been touched via pocket and starts uncontroled connections, somethimes during previous talk, somethimes after, somethimes it ends connection during talk. It very annoying.Where can find this setting in my Xperia z2 and prevent this situation?Inphone bluetooth setting doesn't contain setting like "leave screen blocked during connection"
Recently my battery on my phone was about to die.I turned of the phone to save the remaining battery I had..When I turned it on again it vibrated like it usually does...But the screen never turned on..I've tooken out the bettery, placed it in the phone again, and its the same thing..It vibrates and no responce from the screen...I've put it to charge for a few hours: did the same thing again and no responce..If anyone know how to fix this let me know. Or at least something more than I already know.
I was charging my phone while using it and it suddenly shut off. Whenever I try to turn it on the welcome screen "samsung powered by android" comes up for 1 second and then goes black and nothing else happens. I've had the phone for about 8 months and never rooted or installed any software other than official updates. I was just playing a game while it was charging when it stopped working.
every combination of buttons i press even the factory reset gives the same result, the welcome screen for 1 second and then nothing. I was able to get to the OS change warning screen though but when i cancel it goes back to the welcome screen problem. Charging it shows the charging symbol going on and off every second.
I'm pulling my hair out every time I use this phone. I have heard you can adjust the touch screen to make it less sensitive, but I've got no idea how to do it!
Two weeks ago my phone screen began randomly freezing, and a small section at the bottom would become digital noise/pixels. To fix this I simply locked my phone with the power button, waited a few minutes and my phone would be back to normal. I can't remember if this started happening before or after I updated my phone to the latest software.  For the last week when I unlock my phone, every now and again the screen won't turn on.
Sometimes when I plugged it in to charge, the charging screen would display and I could turn it on that way. When the screen was blank, sometimes I could press the power button repetitively (locking & unlocking my phone) and the screen would eventually turn on.
I then figured out I could do a 'hard reset' by holding down the power and volume up buttons, and my phone would work again.
Since the Lolliopop update, change the orientation from horizontal to vertical (or vice versa) often results in the no screen rotation i find I have rotate the device at least 180 degrees before it detects anything
We have the Xperia Ray and it has been working fine for about 6 weeks until the other day when the screen stopped working and we are therefore unable to access the phone. We have tried to repair the software twice and that did not work and obviously we are unable to do the reset as not able to access the phone systems.
My 5800 touch screen is not responding well like any touch screen should. Compared with my friend's phone and he said there is definite problem with touch. Now is this rectifiable? Or better to go for an exchange? I dont trust Nokia Care because my e72 is still with them for some error which they are not explaning properly. Poor customer service.
GF facebooked messaged me last night after I tried to ring her, saying that since our last call, her phone had seemed frozen and wasn't responding to her touch. It was on the locked screen and she couldn't get it to work. Physical buttons worked ok.I got her to reboot to reinstall through SU, but not joy. So, what's likely to be wrong with it that suddenly, the whole screen goes pop?
I recently bought a Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo V (MT11). I locked the screen using the Power button of the phone. I have set a password for unlocking my phone. Now, when i press the "Home" key of the phone, the screen comes alive with keypad for punching-in the password but the touchscreen is not responding so i am not able to punch-in the password. I am getting calls on my cell phone but i cannot receive the calls since I cannot slide the "green" button on screen to right (which is the usual way to receive the calls). Could you guys please help me make my phone screen responsive again. This is a brand new phone, just a couple of days old and no apps installed other than loaded by the Company itself.
The date and time is Sept 30 2010 at 11:32am. Which i set and is correct and is correct on the smaller clock on top right hand of the screen. However, on the bigger time and date that "floats" on the touch screen it is still reading 9:43am with yesterday's date which is the 29th of sept. Then when i want to change my phone setting to either vibrate or silent....again, the smaller notification is correct but the big setting that "floats" on screen keeps telling me its on vibrate when i try to change it.
I don't know how it happened but my phone adopted a crack from bottom to top just off center, which seemed to have made 40% of the right side useless. I am scared that if i get just the screen replaced, the right side of the touch will remain broken.
