Jun 8, 2010How do I reject an incoming call when the touch screen on the 5530 is locked? If I use the right slider switch to unlock touch screen, the call gets answered.

May 18, 2010I just bought 5530 Xpressmusic yesterday and new to smartphones/touchscreens. I have a question.Whenever the phone touch screen is locked, and if i get a call, i am not able to answer or reject it directly from touch screen, unless i manually unlock the screen using right side lever. Although i can see the Answer/Reject option in screen, when i touch them they don't work. Also the Green/Red options at bottom of touch screen are also not working.Similarly, when i set an alarm, i cannot snooze or stop the alarm immediately in touch screen when the alarm rings, unless i unlock the touch screen again manually.Can someone help how to get this working, or is it the design?

May 22, 2012I have problem in my new Sony ericsson Pro mobile, when the keypad is unlocked i get the swipe to reject so i can do it, but when the keypad is locked i get the video tone with Answer/Ignore. If i click answer it receives the call and for ignore also it receives the call, it doesn't reject the call.

Jul 6, 2012My calls come in fine when my phone is awake, but as soon as it goes to sleep (whether manually or through auto-lock), it loses the FIDO connection and my calls don't come in. Once I unlock my Phone I can see missed calls and some are going to Voice Mail. People that call me get a a voicemail. This was happening after upgraded to IOS5.1.1

It's very difficult to take out the phone from your pocket and then adjust the volume or change the track unless you have put on the handsfree. Please let me know if there is any fix for this.

It even shuts down when I dial a number and the other side picks up.The only possible way using my 5530 as phone is by enabling the loudspeaker.Are there any updates fixing that problem? Reason is that when I received a call (and the phone is locked) the swipe up button for selecting the reject-message on the bottom of the screen is overlayed with the black soft-key bar showing home and back buttons.

The phone will ring, I'll answer the call and have the conversation, no problem. But when it comes to ending the call, the screen freezes with 'Joe Bloggs Calling' on the screen and I have to turn the phone off to resolve it. (no response from the screen)

Aug 17, 2010I just bought my Nokia 5530.There are a couple of problems I have been having though- sometimes when I am making a call and want to end it before the person answers, the screen becomes unresponsive. Also sometimes when I am in the middle of the call and want to access the dialler (for typing in an extensions for example), the screen does not automatically come back up from its 'dark mode' and the only way i am able to end the call is turning it off completely.Is there something I should do to prevent this, or is my phone just defective? Help is needed because I think my local warranty is going to be up soon!
