I have a nokia c3-oo I have a nokia ca101 USB cable and the nokia suite which I have downloaded from nokia everything has loaded up alright I connect the phone to the computer there is a connection sign on my mobile and the phone asks what to connect so I choose nokia suit when the nokia suite is open I click to add new phone but nothing happens windows does not detect the phone.

View 5 Replies View RelatedYesterday, I went running with my Lumia 1020 listening to music and using the Runtastic app. The music stopped - I looked at the phone - it was turned off. I tried powering on, but to no avail. I should also mention that upon leaving, the battery was fully charged and this happened after some 20 minutes. When I came home, I immediately put the phone on the wall charger and expected it to power on after a while. I checked it after 3 hours and nothing, the phone was still stone-dead and what was even more worrying, completely cold - no heat-up from charging.
I tried connecting it to my PC - the computer didn't even recognize ANY device was connected to it. Just to be sure, I tried Nokia Software Recovery Tool, but sure enough, it was not able to detect the phone. The phone seems to be dead meat now, but when I put it on my desk wireless charging stand, the stand's indicator lights up, although the phone does nothing and stays that way.
How does the phone detect when it's in the holster? Do BlackBerry holsters have some kind of magnet inside?

I just bought the new Z2, it was great until I can't sync or back up my data to my laptop. My laptop is using Window 7 and I have updated the phone to 17.1.1.A0.402 version. Beside that I also updated the Sony PC Companion, yet nothing can I do to sync or back up to my laptop even y using wifi or usb cable (original from the box). My laptop also can't detect the Z2 device too.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI tried almost everything there is to try from clean uninstall including deleting files in the registry folders etc etc of all DMs reboot and reinstall. still my DM 6 will not detect my phone but my windows has no problem seeing my phone.I had to uninstall everything and go back to DM5 that worked flawlessly. Fact that it works on DM5 allows me to rule out any hardware malfunction.
Lastly i noticed that there are users out there with this problem also have difficulty closing the DM6. whenever we try to close it, it will just hang there and we have to manually close it using task manger. I hope that the details given will be able to help technical support troubleshoot some sort of solutions.
I am perfectly fine with using DM5 but my future plan is to change my phone to the BB Torch. And with this current problem i wont be able to get my torch to work on DM6 on my computer. I hope that we can get some sort of solution. I am running windows XP sp3
I recently purchased Torch 9860. Last sunday i was travelling, suddenly cell lost the network connection and switched off. when rebooted it showing "error 102 Reload Software", I tried to connect this device with Desktop manager as per the solutionds given on BB website but Desktop manager is not able to detect the phone, and i am unable to do anything since there are not software update for OS 7 yet.

Last evening,the i phone battery had died, after charging my 3g iphone, prompts showed a cable (connecting to itunes) update.
So i connected it and ran the update, it said after updating i could restore my contacts and messages. ( Earlier that day we updated our macbook to the osx lion and moved our moble me account to the icloud)
I was not given the option to "restore contacts, messages, information" ( As is customary when updating my iphone)
Note: After the update was complete, ( updated to 4.2.1) IT WAS SUPPOSE TO BE 5.1. (BUT that may be because I have an old 3G iphone??)
Then all it offered me was syncing options, so I "sync"ed "it". Now, all my iphone messages, contacts, phone history, purchased apps...... are "GONE'
