What does this message icon mean on a blackberry? so when i send a text message it normally place a check mark with a small D above it. But i just got one with just a check mark, with no D above it. and i was wondering what it meant? oh and i have the blackberry tour, but it may be the same on all blackberry phones.

My blackberry recently ran out of batterery and when I got round to charging it again it had an icon which looks like a green speech bubble with a white phone inside it and a red star and a number 1 next to it. I presumed it was a voicemail but my voicemail inbox is empty.

When I go in to the BBM application, there is Nothing new; no invites, messages, or group chats. I recently deleted someone and put them on the ignore list so is this them trying to communicate with me? I took them off the ignore list but the icon still remains new on my home screen. It's really starting to bother me and I can't get rid of it. I've restarted my phone by turning it off as well as a battery pull.

I just got a new bb today and when all my data got transferred over, my new one is now saying that I have 3 unread messages. I've deleted all old messages, emails and voicemails. I also removed my email account from my phone and it is still there. I'm not sure what else to check or how to get rid of it.

For some reason, occassionaly when I get a text message the ringtone goes off but I don't see any message in my message inbox. If I have an idea who sent it I'll text them to resend it and then the second time it comes through. This happens for both SMS and MMS messages and from people who I text all the time. I've tried pulling the battery multiple times but that didn't help. I thought the latest OS update from Verizon would help but it didn't. I've checked my memory and I still have plenty of memory left on the device. I am starting to delete Apps I don't regularly use but that hasn't helped yet. Does anyone else have any ideas? One other weird thing that happened before the update from Verizon but not since then is that when I'd send a text to a single person, if there was a previous time when I had sent or received a text from them and several others were included in that text, then the new text would be associated with that group instead of the individual person.

I am presently using profile (Loud) with the BBPro_VintageAlarm with Volume 10 and count set to 3. Any other useful suggestions are also welcome. Searched the net with no useful answers. Most of them were linked to max number of rings while receiving calls but none for email
