My blackberry recently ran out of batterery and when I got round to charging it again it had an icon which looks like a green speech bubble with a white phone inside it and a red star and a number 1 next to it. I presumed it was a voicemail but my voicemail inbox is empty.
View 4 RepliesI was texting back and forth from my 4s to a fairweathered friend's 4s who is known for blackmail and threatening blackmail via social networks like FB. I noticed that some of my texts were showing up green and others were blue as normal. She suddenly accused me of forwarding texts when i actually hadnt so im assuming shes either paranoid and or forwarding my texts herself. she is very manipulative so it seems like she only accused me to distract me while she was doing it. would her forwarding them cause the ones she forwarded to be green instead of blue?

I have an iPhone 5s and my husband has an iPhone 4. We have the same iOS (7.1.1) and use the built in Messages app to send text messages. When I add an emoticon such as the smiling face with heart shaped eyes, my husband gets only an empty speech bubble. Â
I am choosing emoticons from the little world shaped icon beside my microphone, and if I choose the first emoticon - the regular smiling face, he gets that, but most of the others result in the empty speech balloon. Â
He can send me emoticons such as the smiling face with heart shaped eyes, and I receive the text just fine. Why his phone will not receive those texts?Â

View 1 Replies View RelatedI sent a text to my friend. They replied but it came as a seperate thread not as a reply to the one I had just sent. Usually I can scroll up and read all our texts in seperate boxes. I have the bb torch 9800. This is what I see: from the main screen click on test messages. It shows as a green bubble as if it is a draft message and 4 characters that I don't ever remember typing. But when I click on the message all I see is their reply message to me but can't see the 4 characters from the supposedly draft message that shows in the list of text messages. Also there is no box at the bottom to type my reply. If I go back to the list of text messages and click the bb button I can click reply but when I do once again all I see is their message but still no 4 characters of the draft message or text box for me to type in.

I have an icon on my phone and don't know how to get it off. Its a blue phone with a green dot next to it and theres a 3. My voicemail was messed up when I got it and they fixed that.I'm just wondering if it has to do with my old voicemail. But I want the icon off! Any suggestions?

View 5 Replies View RelatedAtrix 2 - after downloading Android 4.0.4, green phone icon is missing. The app icon is not in any tray, any screen, or the generalized app listings. However, it is listed as running when you select "Manage Apps." Doing a force stop, then rebooting unit does not restore the icon, even though it is listed as launch by default. Technically, app is "Phone", version 4.0.4-67.21.125. How can I restore it? (Workaround - select People, then small icon phone/dialpad.)

It looks like a small blue peach bubble on the top of the screen just under the date and a number next to it, i get that it’s not the new message icon, it seems to be a counter of some kind I think, I cleared all the messages i can find but it’s still there! My email boxes do not appear to have a little red star indicating I have new emails. All I have is a little baby icon in the top left hand corner.I have taken the battery and SIM card out of the phone, turned it on and off and still no luck.

View 9 Replies View RelatedYesterday I updated to 5.1.1. I use handcent and now when I get a text message it shows the normal icon as it is coming through, but then it just goes to a star icon. If I pull down the menu, it shows the normal icon. After doing some research I found something that says it is interruption mode, but my phone does not have anything in settings or by pressing the volume button doesn't give those options either. How to remove the star icon? I have different icons set up for different people and I would like to be able to look at the notification bar to see who it is from without having to swipe down.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI have a habit of saving all my sms text messages, and that was exactly what I was doing on my BB since June, 2011, from day one of using the phone.
However it seems that any sms beyond a month old automatically turns blank and becomes a green icon. Am lost since a lot of personal smses have vanished, including Flight tkt details - a day before my flight too..
lately the smses have turned green just 3 weeks out.... am desperate... since I also get a Application Memory full message.. inspite of saving all pics and music files on a 4GB memory card.
I would have to switch to my previous Samsung phone otherwise, even though it lacks a lot of features like my current BB..
I take a daily backup thru BB Protect, but it doesnt makes things better.
a)Unable to find the Icon for Maps on my phone. Is'nt it supposed to be pre installed ?if yes, maybe its hidden but I have no idea how to unhide it.
b) So I got google maps and it wont work either - asks for a data plan. But I have WiFi at home and aboe to browse the web and aalso use app store and ther apps.

View 2 Replies View RelatedFor some reason my X6 stopped recieving email, but that wasn't a problem as i installed Emoze which is much better.But now a mysterious icon has appeared in the top left of my screen (under the 3G icon), but sometimes the icon also moves to the top centre and floats ontop of the date.It's a green square with a green circle inside it with a white triangle inside that.Anyone know why it represents and why it's turned up?It's not mentioned in the instruction manual and neither is it the emoze logo.

Only way of calling is going thru contacts within the menu and if it is not there then you have to set it up which is extremely long and laborious! I have updated software and reset factory settings to no avail phone is only 2 months old!
