a)Unable to find the Icon for Maps on my phone. Is'nt it supposed to be pre installed ?if yes, maybe its hidden but I have no idea how to unhide it.
b) So I got google maps and it wont work either - asks for a data plan. But I have WiFi at home and aboe to browse the web and aalso use app store and ther apps.
I got a BB Torch, i tried to set up the email by following the demo online, but there is no personal email setting on there just work email, and i tried to set up my email as enterprise account, it showed activation request failed.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI recently reinstalled the firmware to my E90 Communicator but now I can't find the latest Maps application (3.01) anywhere. After the reinstallation my device only has the 2.0 Maps.
Both the firmware of the device and my Nokia Suite are the latest versions available. I sent Nokia an email and they replied that the Maps can be downloaded thru Nokia Suite, but I don't see any download links there.
Nokia Store's website simply states that the (newest) Maps application is not available for the E90 - but none of the older versions can be found. The same goes for Mail for Exchange - that was lost in the process as well and no longer available for this model from Nokia.

Trying to use app Map on Lumia 800 I am not able to find the search icon on the map allowing me to search for a place or business or shops etc. The only available icon is the search icon outside the map which only is used to search internet giving me a list of links which can not be connected to the map. I have tried to follow the instructions given in the manual however with no success. It all stops after launching the map. Note: This problem affects only the use of Map (Bing) and not Nokia Map or Nokia Drive. What am i doing wrong?

For some reason it is listed in my apps when I go to settings, but the icon is no where to be found so I can't ever open it! I use poynt a lot and it uses bb maps to map out my travel, but I can't just open bb maps to do my own route with an address. What is the deal? However I am still seeing edge on the top right screen. Even if I perform a manual search for available networks I am only finding 2g. But when I put my sim in a bb torch os6 and do the search I will get both 2g and 3g.Because of this I cannot use the mobile hotspot option as well.I have tried almost everything my carrier has told me to do.

I checked my voice mail, but the symbol did not go away. Since then I have not received any text messages. The text messages I send are getting through, but the ones other people send me aren't. Thinking my inbox might be full, I deleted a few conversations, to no effect. My phone is basically new and I haven't made any adjustments to it. I've drawn a picture to show what i mean: don't know if the voice mail and text messaging issues are related. But when I click picture with the camera and the storage option being Device, it gets stored and can be viewed in the picture list. Same thing happens with the Videos.

View 9 Replies View RelatedBasically my original HTC One got quite damaged, and so I bought a slightly used unlocked version (one where the screen and case wasn't near destroyed, as my original). However, since getting the phone I have constantly been trying to hook it up to PC via USB cable in order to, simply, transfer some music. My computer will not recognise my new phone as a htc (only "Android Phone"). It will also not allow me to find (automatically/manually) the drivers.
Now this is pretty much the same problem with both phones, so I highly doubt it is a fault with the new one I just purchased. I have tried multiple usb ports in my computer, searched the entire internet for answers, downloaded drivers and manually tried to find them to no avail, uninstalled/reinstalled the sync manager numerous times but it still will not find the phone. I cannot understand this at all. It's always been as easy as, attaching a usb cable and then even using WMP to sync music files, or even drag them in manually. But my computer will not recognise any HTC one, or allow me to find the drivers.
I have somehow lost the icon for "contacts". My contacts are still there, I can find them by searching but don't have an icon on my home page (or anywhere else) to click on to add new contacts or find old ones. Can anyone advise what I've done? I've tried synching with my laptop but that hasn't brought the icon back, and I've powered off. I backed up to the cloud earlier but am a bit bothered about trying a full restore! Besides, the contacts icon was missing when I last backed up, so it probably wouldn't come back anyway!

I downloaded a theme OTA and I can't find it anywhere. It said it was for the 8520 OS 4.6, my phone said it was downloaded successfully but it's missing. It shows up on my applications list but not with my themes. I've checked every folder and nook and cranny. I've even restarted my phone. I wouldn't say I'm a BB pro or anything, but I'm fairly experienced so I've tried the obvious things.
