Is there a simple way to send somebody a BBM message through email from a PC or something else? I'm thinking maybe using an email address with the user's PIN number followed by a domain name, something like "PIN_number@blackberry.com" or something like that?

I use Hotmail email I think this started to fail when I upgraded to the new OS. When I create a new Calender appointment, it no longer shows up in my hotmail calender. If I invite attendees, all they get is a blank email, they no longer get a proper meeting request in their Outlook inbox.
However, if they send me a meeting invite, it is properly recognized on my blackberry.
As best I tried scouring the internet looking at various BB forums, I went into options and deleted my Hotmail email account on the phone. I set it up again and it does not fix the problem. As far as I can tell, my hotmail account is a now typical account that has pop3 access.
EDIT: I removed the Hotmail account and added a GMail account. The GMail account workes totally fine with meeting invites. Also, after the creation of the GMail account, there is now a second inbox icon on my BB home screen. This icon is an envelope like the original one but also has a graphic of the world over-layed on top of it that resembles the Browser icon.
I have 3 email accounts that I synchronise with the email app. I use this app to have all my accounts in the same place, including my gmail account. The issue is that when I send an email, a copy of it is stored in the imap sent email folder of the account. Gmail do not recommend this practice because it saves all sent email by itself, and there for, if the client also saves a copy of the email, there is two copies stored. That's my problem. When using email app, I find in my email account twice the mail sent in the conversation. (How) can I configure the email app not to store the sent messages in the imap server ? I am running ICS official realease from sony (PC Companion) since yesterday.

I even tried sending it to my facebook page and my work E mail and the exact same thing happens. I can see if the picture was appearing only 1/2 on my phone. I need to send this photo to family members....

However, my co-works have switched carriers to Verizon(from AT&T) and I cannot get them to send emails. I've tried cwmx.com....no luck. I set up SMTP:outgoing.verizon.net and it then gave me message that server did not relay. I even set up an vzwmail account.I need to know what SMTP server to use!

The curve worked fine until about a week ago now it wont let me send or receive mails, when I try to set up email settings it replies (after a long while of trying) I contacted my provider who told me to try a couple of things which included removing the battery and I could keep contacting them but it will cost a fortune eventually.

Also I go to change email settings and BB does not recognise my username and password and I have tried all I can remember. I do not seem to be able to start again with new email settings to try and correct this. It happens no matter where I am, whether I'm on wifi or not. I've tried deleting my email and starting over but that hasn't worked at all. Gmail seems to work fine, it's my Outlook account, which I use most of the time.

Every once in awhile, i will receive my imessages in my email account. Most of the time it will work properly, but those rare occasions it sends the other party's response to my email account and does not show up in the imessage window at all. like it was not even sent. my apple id is based off a regular email account like yahoo, gmail, or hotmail. how can I make it stop doing this? I want to be able to communicate properly and use my other idevices too. please help... would it just be better to start a whole new apple id with just a specific email acct desginated just for that?

It is sat in the outbox not actually doing anything. what I can do about it to try and get it to send it? I just don't see much in the way of options.
I have looked at the settings for the different email accounts I have and that particular one all the settings for incoming and outgoing servers are correct and just the same as they are in outlook on my computer.

I'm posting this because I'm nearly going nuts every time I send a captured photo by using my N86's built in photo sending option (I view the image and in the toolbar select Send with the envelope icon).
I choose to send my photo by email, and when I get to entering the email adress, I get 2 suggestions for email adresses - my old email adress and my new one. This is annoying because I quite often by accident pick the old email adress (the adresses are almost the same) from the list and can't understand why I don't receive my photo, until I check and find out I sent it to the wrong address..Is there some way to remove these suggestions?

I backed up his old AT&T Curve 8310 before I rolled his number over to his new Verizon Bold 8650 yesterday.Everything was working properly, but due to time constraints I didn't get a chance to restore his contacts/info over to this new phone until this morning and this I think is where I created a problem. After I did a restore on the new Bold, the ability to send/recieve emails as well as text messages stopped (of course I don't hear about this until he's left the office and is off to the airport). The phone will still send/recieve calls, but email/texts (and presumably web) are a no go. His emails are currently being delivered via POP/webmail and every time he tries to send out an email or a text he gets an error on screen.When I did the restore, did the phone grab the old AT&T settings and tried to supplant them over the VZW settings?
Edit the second After an additional phone call with this employee, he was able to recieve a test message that I sent to him, but when he tried to respond, there wasn't an option for him to send the response that he had written, be it via my message, or by creating a new message.
