When sending an email, I constantly get the message "sending incomplete". I have to keep sending, until it eventually goes through. It happens no matter where I am, whether I'm on wifi or not. I've tried deleting my email and starting over but that hasn't worked at all. Gmail seems to work fine, it's my Outlook account, which I use most of the time.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI started having this issue yesterday--I have YMail, Hotmail and GMail accounts all in the stock e-mail app on my Nexus 5. I also use Lightflow for LED notifications and have had no problems. I noticed I was no longer receiving the taskbar icon notifications in the upper left for new e-mails, nor the Lightflow LED notifications. I still get Hangout/text notifications, not sure about missed calls.
1) Confirmed notifications set to On in the e-mail app for each of the e-mail accounts
2) Turned phone off and then back on
3) Cleared data and cleared cache in e-mail app -- didn't work
4) Uninstalled Lightflow app
5) Deleted all 3 accounts from the e-mail app, then added them back in; rebooted -- still no notifications
I don't use the stock GMail app for GMail since I prefer to just have one icon to use to keep track of all my e-mail accounts.
I have 3 email accounts that I synchronise with the email app. I use this app to have all my accounts in the same place, including my gmail account. The issue is that when I send an email, a copy of it is stored in the imap sent email folder of the account. Gmail do not recommend this practice because it saves all sent email by itself, and there for, if the client also saves a copy of the email, there is two copies stored. That's my problem. When using email app, I find in my email account twice the mail sent in the conversation. (How) can I configure the email app not to store the sent messages in the imap server ? I am running ICS official realease from sony (PC Companion) since yesterday.

I was connecting my 8310 to my PC using BB Desktop Manager using USB and was told there was new software for my device available for download. So I started the download and when it was about halfway it stopped and would not continue. After a long time I gave up and tried reconnecting the device to my PC and the PC said it did not recognize my BB. My BB no longer functions and just sits with a red light flashing I think it has blown its brains. What options do i have?

All of my runs start and end in the same place (in reality). However, the last n minutes (or miles?) of every run seem to be getting lost somewhere. The problem exists in both the device and on the site, so I'd assume it's getting lost in the device.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI use the stock e-mail app on the M8 since I have several accounts over various servers and it allows them all to be grouped together regardless of where they come from. We had to reset the password on one of the g-mail accounts yesterday and the e-mail app is not logging onto it. At first it came up as an invalid account so I changed the password in the settings and nothing. Then I deleted the account and was going to start over, but I get the same message 'authentication failed, please check username and/or password'. I've checked, everything is correct, but it won't log in.
I've had this account on this app since I got the phone with no issues. My wife uses the g-mail app on her M7 and everything went through just fine on her phone right after it was changed. I've restarted the phone, I've waited overnight, nothing I do seems to work. It as if the app can't contact the newest info from Google, so it knows it needs a new passwords, but it doesn't know what it is. Usually setting up an account only takes a few seconds, but this one is being really stubborn.
Everything seems to be working fine in stock email except one thing. When I send or reply to an email, it disappears. I know it sends, but there is no record of it in any of the sent folders. In the inbox, it shows that an email was responded to, but it doesn't exist on my device. It is not view-able in sent folder from any other device like my computer on IMAP either.
The email makes it to its destination so it's not the end of the world. However, I do like to have a record of what I send from my S6.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S6 active running on 5.1.1. I was wondering if there was any way at all possible to hide the stock E-mail app from being seer, removing it or disabling it in any way. I have both yahoo mail and gmail downloaded via separate apps, so I'd like to remove from view the stock app. Also, does ping pong root would work with my phone?

I know that MMS is not supported by default in the N900 (you have to download third party software), but also there is no GPS/map software? Also I heard that you cannot video call?
Could someone be kind enough to list the features that I will be used to as an N96 owner, that aren't available in the N900 "out of the box". I know it's possible to download new programs and stuff, but I'd like the core functionality to be Nokia's own software just so it's consistent in design and quality.
When I was trying to update the OS the power went down so the process is incomplete.
And now all I have is blackberry and the straight loading bar is full until the right side of the screen but that's it. doesn't move either.
I've just receive my new 9300 curve with the company account. It's synchronize everything perfectly but not the Time Zones. So I still have the icon of the configuration running (65%) and it don't finish the configuration.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently moved from iphone to Android and the G4 is my first android phone. My work email is IMAP and although everything is working, my sent folder on the phone seems local to the device. Google shows a couple of different options with the most reasonable one being "setting the IMAP path prefix" but the email app on the G4 has no such setting.
This is a pretty big deal for me as I have tons of email and need the Inbox and Sent folders to be synced with the server. (by the way, I have disabled automatic sync, but for a different reason, i.e. to not allow my gmail account to sync contacts on the phone. But the auto-sync is not something that affects the Sent folder)...
My previous phone was an S5 and in the stock email app it had a dropdown menu which included the "Delete All" function. Got the S6, Lollipop 5.1.1, recently and that feature is now missing. Email cannot be deleted off of my work email server so when I added my work email to my phone all 6,000+ emails eventually came in. The only way I've figured to delete them is one at a time. Did I mention I had to return my first S6 for a defective battery and got a replacement? Yes, I've deleted 12,000+ emails individually in the past week.

About the first 1/2 second of the directions are missing. For example instead of "Turn right" I just hear "Right". I can sort of make my way but its hard not hearing the beginning of all the guidance. If I listen via the phone's speaker the instructions are complete. I have a 2009 Hyundai Getz, so its not an old stereo & have installed the latest maps/software on the phone. My 6110 didn't have this problem.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI have recently purchased myself and another of my colleagues an HTC One M8. We also have another colleague who has had an M8 for some time.
The two new devices I setup as ExchangeActiveSync accounts on the stock mail client. The other user has set his up as IMAP/SMTP. As a company we use office365 for our email solution.
Here is an example of the issues I am having:
This morning I received 11 emails, they all came into the inbox fine, I then received a 12th email. At this point the previous 11 emails were removed from the inbox. However all these email still remained on the server. It doesn't seem to have any pattern, it could be the first or the 20th email I receive and it doesn't always remove all the previous emails. It could just be the last 4 or 5. The Sync period was set to 30 days.
The other user who has the IMAP setting says he experiences the same issue and always has done.
I have tried other mail clients on the phone and they seemed to work, I also have the same account on a Google Nexus which works without issue.
I have a Nexus 5, I removed the stock email app.
Now I need to use the stock email that comes with the device for work, but I can't seem to find it in the play store. Maybe I'm searching under the wrong name, but how I can get the stock email app back onto my device? Is the stock email even in the play store? If it's not in the play store, any good email app for businesses that uses exchange?
It's a couple of days my phone doesn't sync and download new emails. I switched to Aquamail and it's working. I can't understand what happened to the stock email app

I've set up a custom signature in the account settings since I don't like to give Verizon free advertising via the "Sent from my Verizon 4G LTE Smartphone." However, when I use the quick Reply All in conversation view rather going directly into a message and replying from there, it adds the default Verizon signature.
Last night my fully charged S6 Edge was taken off the charger and left next to my bed. When I got up 7.5 hrs later I was very surprised to see that approx half my battery was gone and all due to the stock email sync. I have unlimited data and didn't bother changing the sync to longer intervals rather than push. I have obviously changed the sync interval.

I've got two accounts set up on the stock email app. But the only way I can switch from one to the other is to go into settings and which ever one I set as default is the only one I see.When I hit menu there is no option for 'accounts' and if I hit the account name at the top it drops down and shows me the folders for that account.One is a gmail account one is an imap account.

Was unable to get it to work but successfully set up the K9 app.With the new GB release I thought I would try the stock app again. Now I can send messages but can't receive any with the stock email app. I have my own web domain and pop3 email. Any ideas why this won't work with the stock app although it does work with the K9 app?

If I need to mark as read, I can only select one by one, but if i selected any read emails, it will just provide option button below as mark as unread.
I only check my emails few times a day on my phone but it could get up to a lot and i need this feature that I can mark as read easily.
