After sending an email I can't see the email in Sent items of the email account. Using latest iOS and 4S & IMAP email

I have 3 email accounts that I synchronise with the email app. I use this app to have all my accounts in the same place, including my gmail account. The issue is that when I send an email, a copy of it is stored in the imap sent email folder of the account. Gmail do not recommend this practice because it saves all sent email by itself, and there for, if the client also saves a copy of the email, there is two copies stored. That's my problem. When using email app, I find in my email account twice the mail sent in the conversation. (How) can I configure the email app not to store the sent messages in the imap server ? I am running ICS official realease from sony (PC Companion) since yesterday.

I go into my email setting and select for it to hide my sent messages from my email (linked to my work outlook server) and it does not save. I've been put in charge of setting up email on co-workers iphones.I just recently upgraded to iphone4 and had no problems getting mine set up (AT&T carrier). However, my co-works have switched carriers to Verizon(from AT&T) and I cannot get them to send emails. I've tried cwmx.com....no luck. I set up SMTP:outgoing.verizon.net and it then gave me message that server did not relay. I even set up an vzwmail account.I need to know what SMTP server to use!

Every once in awhile, i will receive my imessages in my email account. Most of the time it will work properly, but those rare occasions it sends the other party's response to my email account and does not show up in the imessage window at all. like it was not even sent. my apple id is based off a regular email account like yahoo, gmail, or hotmail. how can I make it stop doing this? I want to be able to communicate properly and use my other idevices too. please help... would it just be better to start a whole new apple id with just a specific email acct desginated just for that?

I've just performed upgrade to ICS and now it seems that I can not move email items from Sent folder on my Exchange account.In other folders it is OK, only Sent items are affected.On previous Android OS version I could do that, as well as on my iPad and iPhone.

I am suspecting that these are "junk" emails but how can I get rid of them. It is now telling me that there is not enough space so cannot view any other emails. how to see these "trash emails" so that I can delete them? All of my other email folders are empty.

I have two separate email accounts that use the same outgoing server -- mobile-smtp.roadrunner.com. I can seemingly use only one to send emails (receiving mail is not a problem), because whichever user name and password I input under the outgoing mail server settings automatically transfers to the other account's settings, rendering one useless for sending mail.

I am using the Google calendar sync to push my Outlook appointments to my Google calendar, and then using the Google calendar app on my BB 8530 to download my consildated Outlook/Google calendar.This works great, except for one problem. When I receive an invite for a meeting via my Exchange email on my device, it automatically adds it to my calendar, hence creating a duplicate calendar item.
In my calendar options on my BB, the "Wireless Sync" option is grayed out and set to "No." (since I don't use a BES connection)
How can I stop my BB from adding items to my calendar automatically when it sees the calendar invite in my email on the device?
I have Verizon service and use webmail to sync my Exchange email.
