Iam receiving notifications that I have to update my facebook ap.. when I get to myworld to check it... Its requiring me for my log in BB ID username (which automatically puts in my email address)... I forgot my password so I had it reset. But its not sending any email confirmation for the password change.
I received an email on my phone stating that my Blackberry ID account was locked due to too many failed attempts. These were not attempts that I made. It gave me the link to reset my password. When I enter my blackberry email address and the captcha I receive the following notice:
To receive your password reset email at a different email address, you must temporarily forward your email before you click the Submit button.
Following that link (and a few more) it instructs me to go into email setup on my phone and enable forwarding of my mail. I do that and click save and I get the message that my secret question can not remain blank. I do know the answer for the question. When I enter that and save it asks me to enter my password. I can't do that as the password needs to be reset. How to I get through that last step. I know what my password was but it isn't working.
I am presently locked out accessing applications where a blackberry ID is required. I have used the links to reset the password and received a message to say that an e-mail has been sent to my blackberry e-mail address though for security it will not be sent to my phone. I don't know how I can retrieve that e-mail. I just wish to reset my ID password?

Got an email this morning that said I needed to validate an email account. Said messages from this email account weren't being delivered and resume receiving email, I needed to validate the password. I've tried several passwords that I've used in the past and all were rejected. Obviously I've forgotten the password and can't figure out what to do next.
I have requested three separate times to reset my Blackberry ID password. Each time is says that an email with instructions to reset my password has been sent, but the emails are not coming through to my email account (not inbox, junk, spam...anything). I'm effectively locked out until I can reset my password.
i tried to get my old account back which i made awhile ago by sending a reset password, it will say sent but nothing will show up in my email, i will then go to see if i can sign up with the username to see if the account has been closed or something and it will say it has been taken already. so i know i have the account created but im just not getting the email, what do i do?
My BB ID for my Torch has an email address that is missing a digit.When I reached the maximum login attempts, I tried resetting the password but the BB ID for this device is missing a '1', thus when it sends the reset email, it's sending it to an email that isn't mine. I reset my password for the BB ID I thought was for this device, which includes the '1', but when I try using that BB ID on this phone, it says something like "use the BB ID associated with this device".
I just replaced my Blackberry Torch 9800 with an identical device. There is a User name and Password needed to access e-mail settings.
My device prev iously remembered the User Name and Password (e.g., when I had to synchronize my e-mail whenever the password for the e-mail account changed) but now that the device has been replaced, it is now asking for this information which I have misplaced. Is there an easy way to re-set this password?
I do not remember the User name either (it says the password can be sent to the device if the correct User name is provided). Unfortunately right now I cannot access any e-mail on the device.

When she tried to log back in using her Blackberry ID, she was unsure of the password, tried and failed to answer the security question, so we have tried to reset her Blackberry ID password online.When we go through the steps to reset her password via an email, no password email is received. I was locked out of my account while trying to reset my password. I clicked the "forgot password" link, entered my secret question correctly.I followed the link to reset my password that was emailed to me.I then got a generic error saying there was a problem processing your request after trying to give it a new password. The curve worked fine until about a week ago now it wont let me send or receive mails, when I try to set up email settings it replies (after a long while of trying) I contacted my provider who told me to try a couple of things which included removing the battery and I could keep contacting them but it will cost a fortune eventually.
I'm trying to send email from Outlook using Blackberry Desktop V6.2010 - Mobil Internet and connecting to the internet via Blackberry Curve and the email will not send or receive (within Outlook). It stays in the outbox and does not send. I recently udated my 9330 to the new device software update 6.0 bundle3049 upon restoration every thing ame back except internet e-mail accts. All my e-mail acct were listed under the set-up menu, however the passwords were not working. Sprint deleted these accts and I added them back 1 by 1. The only problem is I did not remember my password. Also when I entered my E-mail name the promt shown as name already in use and I was instructed to chose another from a list. I did try to change the name by added a number but it would not except any passwords I chosen.
