Sep 3, 2011I recently udated my 9330 to the new device software update 6.0 bundle3049 upon restoration every thing ame back except internet e-mail accts. All my e-mail acct were listed under the set-up menu, however the passwords were not working. Sprint deleted these accts and I added them back 1 by 1. The only problem is I did not remember my password. Also when I entered my E-mail name the promt shown as name already in use and I was instructed to chose another from a list. I did try to change the name by added a number but it would not except any passwords I chosen.

Jul 17, 2011I updated my blackberry software overnight on my device (curve 9330) and when I woke up in the morning there was a constant white screen with a little diagram and 561 error message underneath. I followed the instructions to update the device software on my desktop and had the latest version (6.1.0.35).The device does not connect to the PC at all and a battery reset on the device did not help.It is frozen with the white 561 error message screen.

When she tried to log back in using her Blackberry ID, she was unsure of the password, tried and failed to answer the security question, so we have tried to reset her Blackberry ID password online.When we go through the steps to reset her password via an email, no password email is received. I am checking the email on a PC (not the Blackberry) and have checked the junk email folder, but no reset email is received.

I clicked the "forgot password" link, entered my secret question correctly.I followed the link to reset my password that was emailed to me.I then got a generic error saying there was a problem processing your request after trying to give it a new password. It didn't say that my new password was too short, or the confirmation didn't match or that my secret question was wrong. All it gave me was an error.

Jul 12, 2012I received an email on my phone stating that my Blackberry ID account was locked due to too many failed attempts. These were not attempts that I made. It gave me the link to reset my password. When I enter my blackberry email address and the captcha I receive the following notice:
To receive your password reset email at a different email address, you must temporarily forward your email before you click the Submit button.
Following that link (and a few more) it instructs me to go into email setup on my phone and enable forwarding of my mail. I do that and click save and I get the message that my secret question can not remain blank. I do know the answer for the question. When I enter that and save it asks me to enter my password. I can't do that as the password needs to be reset. How to I get through that last step. I know what my password was but it isn't working.

Jun 23, 2012The battery on my daughter's BB Curve 9300 went completely flat the other day and will no longer charge in the usual way. However, we have found another way to recharge the battery and after inserting it fully charged to the handset re-booted.
It all re-booted ok but when the password screen appeared it wouldn't respond to any keys on the handset and she can't enter the password. The handset is now permantently locked and won't even switch it off. We've tried removing the battery and re-booting (several times) but no luck.
