i bought BB9860 couple of weeksago, still i could not activiate my inernet sim on it( i have complimentary "mobily SIM" found within the box) somebody told me, black berry will not accept any other sim than BB own internet system is thie true ?
(for nokia, and others, people are using lot of internet sim successfully)

Once I try to play the ringtone it won't. So then I tried to download new ringtones and I got the message error reading; File System out of resources. Once I was in another location it started working again.. it seems to be getting messed up when I am in my home, but this has never happened before.

I have tried two solutions but neither of them works:Manually set up emails on device - in this case, I receive the same email TWICE, one from the system (still showing unknown) and the other one from device, which I can use to reply email. But it is ANNOYING to receive everything twice.Delete all email accounts from the CSL Blackberry system - I still receive emails with unknown receivers no matter how many times I have deleted those accounts. I am transferring to BES now, but this problem still remain. PLS CONTACT ME ASAP, it has been causing many problems at work that I can't receive/send email as it suppose to.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI recenly changed device from BB Curve 8530 to BB Bold 9900 and ever since then can't accept BBM invitations and Invites sent shows only as "Pending for Authorization" but recipients are not receiving them either. Tried sending PIN messages but I got a red x next to the message and the status says: "Service Blocked" .When my phone got lost, I was lucky that I just synchronized my device to my BB Desktop. Not only was I able to retrieve my contacts (phonebooks and BBM) but also ALL txt msgs and even call logs Anway, that happening, I assumed I don't need to re-send all my BBM friends invites since some were able to communicate with me. But for those who have deleted my profile (knowing it got lost) and were still on my contact were the ones affected. I tried deleting them and sent an invite only to find out that: I can't accept BBM invitations and Invites sent shows as "Pending for Authorization" but recipients are not receiving any. (they also have the same pending for authorization notice on their end) When I tried to send them a PIN message I get a red x next to the message nd get the service blocked message.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI got my torch 9800 on launch day. i loved this device and definately felt like i was upgrading from my old device (iphone 3g). as much as i love the capabilities of the device i have run into a few issues, specifically network issues. it all started on sunday when all of a sudden i lost connection to the blackberry servers(the little logo in the corner was gone..) i went to at&t on monday and they could not figure it out. apparently my service book for the blackberry internet service got deleted(i didnt even know what a servicebook was lol) so i went home later that night and downnloaded the at&t software and reinstalled the os and this worked. then all of a sudden today, my fb was acting up, so i deleted the app. then i lost the connection again... do you guys have any idea what could be causing this? im currently reinstalling the os as i write this.

View 1 Replies View RelatedHer phone says it has an update ready to install,but I can't find any way to download that update other than to use the phone's monthly internet allowance.And a message warns that doing so might chew up all her allowance and lead to additional charges.That seems like a pretty brutal way for folk to keep their system up to date.
a) She don't have wireless internet and my Mom is confined to home - so going to a wireless hot spot isn't feasible.
b) I tried using the Sync option of connecting to the internet through her home PC
but it doesn't seem to actually use the home internet - still seems to be using her phone's allowance.
My BB will not connect to internet.! Service providers says its a technical issue.

I've used Desktop Manager in order to download phonebook and other settings, but I'm not able to access internet anymore. I'm not getting good support from the provider, consider that the switch between old and new device could not be done having both of them available at the same time, since by their policy I've taken the broken one to the customer center and they provided me the new one, without changing the configuration between the two.
