I cant seem to download maps. I've tried the following. [URL]It prompts me to install AxLoader.Cab. I click install.Gives Error: "Unable to create the loader Active X Control" Then it continues to loop. Same thing happens when i try to dl BB app store.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have been trying to load maps into my N900 using the Map Loader. The N900 was connected to my Windows 7 laptop using Mass Storage mode. Fire off Map Loader and then it got stuck at "waiting for phone". That message keep flishing and nothign else seems to be happening. Anyone encounter a simple problem and it is possible to fix this one?

I got the N97 on the basis of the maps and GPS stuff. Problem is I have never managed to download maps. I'm using mao loader 3.0.28.0 and Map version 0.1.23.112 both freshly downloaded and installed. There's 24.2GB free memory and my selcted map is175.5MB. When I try to downlad maps I get one of 3 things. The download hangs at about 30-40% I know my internet connection is fine because I'm browsing. The download completes and I get an unknown error when save to storage medium starts. I get a storage medium disconnected message. I've tried it on a desktop and a laptop pc. I've done a full reset on the phone and started all over again. I've trawled all the boards and blogs that come up in google and no one seems to have an answer. I'm starting to get very hacked off with how much of my time is getting soaked up getting nowhere.
View 4 Replies View RelatedXM 5800, latest firmware, Maps 3 installed and working OK. I get "Error while loading catalogue for Nokia 5800 XpressMusic" whenever I start Map Loader 3. Uninstalled/reinstalled Map Loader 3 several times. Tried suggested fixes of deleting qf and cities folder then running Maps to recreate file structure. Tried it on a Windows 7 PC with PC Suite and also a Vista PC with Ovi Suite. Same error message. I am left without the ability to download any maps except over the air as I go incurring data charges. So I may as well just use Google maps! I see in the discussion groups this issue comes up for many different Nokia phones occasionally but I have never seen a solution.
View 25 Replies View RelatedI've downloaded the new ovi maps 3.3. But I have no actual maps on it, I just see empty space and have all the options for GPS etc. Now I want to use Map loader. It keeps telling me "Waiting for phone' fine I plug in my phone with usb cable, take pc suite, and it just keeps on going "waiting for phone", now when I choose Mass storage mode, I get an error telling me " You have atleast 1 phone connected in mass storage mode, please reconnect your phone and select pc suite" I do that and yep. Keeps going "Waiting for phone".

Either you are using an old Map version - .. - or have never started your Maps application. I can't install new maps anymore - I just can click this error window away and choose some maps, they would be downloaded from the Internet, but they would not appear on my mobile! I have a problem with the "map loader" and my Nokia 5800 XM. The map loader worked as I bought the phone some months ago. Everything worked fine. Today I had to do a reset. The map is still working, but I cant get the map loader to work. After the start of the program and sync with the 5800 XM im getting an errormsg (in german but im trying to translate) "cannot load the catalog of the 5800 xm". Thats it. I googled whole day, but found no solution so this forum is my last help right now. It worked (today) before i have done the reset so im thinking that its not my OS (Windows7 64bit).
View 6 Replies View Related1. Doesnt Turn On (I Get red light for approx 1 min with charged plugged in ONLY / then changes to charging sign on screen.
2. If chargers unplugged nothing happens no lights nothing (tried all battery pull far from this now)
3. Install all the software needed to do a full re-install BBSAK + JL_Cmder + Loader "to no avail"
4. When using the above said software i get an error on the COMPUTER saying "Cannot connect to JVM" Click either retry or cancel. the phone then seems to be going into a LOOP again, the windows device notification sounds every so many seconds.
Phone also never changes from a black screen with battery sign with lighting strike through it!Prior to the above the phone was fine, what this could be as it seems that most other threads and posts about JVM Errors seem to have a specific code and this one doesn't.
I tried to reinstall OS on my curve 8900. At the stage of " reconnecting to JVM" an error message occurs stating "application loader Unable to connect to your device" I had tried all the options like Jl_cmder ..but still nothing happens. My mobile is dead and is not responding to any instruction.

The issue before was that the phone kept shutting off and would get stuck on the display loading bar everytime. I went to the AT&T store in town and they told me I needed to update it. I have downloaded Android SDK 3.2 and Google USB driver as mentioned in the instruction there but when I try to connect to my phone it says there is no suitable driver. I went to Device Manager and under "other devices" there is entry for "F1Boot Fastboot" for which I'm trying to install the driver. I selected update driver software > browse my computer for driver > gave path to the usb_driver folder (C:Androidandroid-sdkextrasgoogleusb_driver) but it fails to find the necessary driver!
I am using Windows 7 64 bit and I checked the service setup of my phone to make sure that my phone is entitled for unlock of boot loader.
When downloading maps to my phone with Ver.3.0 Maps Loader, part 1/2 works fine, but at part 2/2, i get this "connection to medium storage interrupted. Attach your storage medium and retry" error at 85.1% everytime (i've tried several times).
Some info:
- I have ver.3.0 Maps on my phone.
- I've also tried updating the firmware and its up-to-date.
- I'm using a 8Gb memory card so it can't be lack of space.
What is causing this error?
I am upgrade my bb8520 using bd program , but until reconnecting to jvm it come up application loader was unable connect with your device . reconect your device , enter the password , if required , and click retry . but the phone is running at the half way .

View 2 Replies View RelatedI just updated my BB 9700 for the first time (511 updates to be exact). The upgrade is currently at 11 out of 12 upgrades and it is taking about 45 minutes to initialize before it gives me the message: "The desktop loader is unable to connect to the device, you may need to enter a password on the device."
The BB is not asking for password and I do not have any password protection on it. I have unplugged the USB from computer and the phone, reconnected and clicked retry and it continues to give me the same message 45 minutes later. I am freaking out a bit because it cleared all my contacts off and I believe the process it is trying to do is to restore that information.
When I select a WiFi network from the E72 home page, it shows me the option to "Start web browsing".(The other 2 options at this stage are "Search for WLAN" and "Switch WLAN scan off". When I select the option to "Start web browsing", I get a list of bookmarks for the browser. But when I select any of those bookmarks, I get an error message "WLAN: WLAN connection already active. Close it and try again". Has anyone seen this before ? Any clues as to how to solve this?
View 4 Replies View Relatedwhen ever i try to play 720p hd videos on my xperia active running ics 4.04 i get the error message "sorry,this video cannot be played"..and after this i wont be able to play any videos till i turn my phone on again..and then for few minutes it plays smoothly and again it stops with that message..but in gb i never faced any such issues with the same videos i think it may be due to phones gallery app..so i opened those videos in MX player but there the video plays in S/W decoder mode and i cant change it to H/W decoder mode because H/W decoder mode isnt available u can see that in the below screen shots.but after restarting everything will be ok ..i formated my memory card but still the same ..only modification i made was that i rooted my phone.screen shot when i opened 720p video in MX player(before restarting)screen shot when i opened the same video in MX player(after restarting)Error message while opening in default gallery app?

I click YES, and followed all the update steps until finish (even I restart my laptop to be safe), then when I wanted to use the Application Loader, it tells me again that it needs to be updated !!! on and on and on ... until I gave up.

View 2 Replies View RelatedIn my Nokia E63, when I try to create a new Profile (an office profile, where I want the tones, volumes etc. to be customized), the profile creation page screen does not open.I do it this way. Menu > Tools > Profiles > Options > Create new.
I expect a create new profile screen to open, but nothing happens. 'Create new' option just exits the Options panel and does not open the create new profile screen.
We go to the email setup wizard and straight away it is asking for a username and password, we enter our email address for username and password of the email account for password, we click next and then it displays a message to enter the username, it keeps displaying this on both of our phones.
We have hotmail and yahoo accounts already setup on our phones, these were setup with no problems at all.
My old Curve 8320 after return from repair and now my contact list are gone. I try to create new contact again but when i click save, nothing happen. Waited still nothing happen. Take out the battery and let it reset again. samething.
