My old Curve 8320 after return from repair and now my contact list are gone. I try to create new contact again but when i click save, nothing happen. Waited still nothing happen. Take out the battery and let it reset again. samething.

Just purchased Blackberry Curve 8530. I need to xfer the contact list from a Motorola I465 that has a simm card. I need to know what program on my pc I can create a contact list in so I can sync up with my blackberry. I'm trying to avoid putting in over 300 contacts one contact at a time in the blackberry.

Or sometimes I can find it but with all the contact information deleted.I am using Verizon Backup assitant to manage my contacts. I wonder if anyone else have the same problem. View 1 Replies View RelatedFor some time I cannot create a new contact via Ovi. After clicking the "+ Create contact..." button, the righmost panel titled "(unnamed)" becomes blank. There are no fields to fill, however they appear for a very short period (< 1sec) after clicking the mentioned button. Contacts editing works fine. Reinstallation, repairing, deleting data from "App data" folder didn't help.

Status reads authorization pending. Recipients don't receive requests. Text message request shows delivered status but buddy does receive it.

I just got this phone unlocked and as soon it arrived I tried to add a contact on the bbm or try to sent a message pin to pin message, but I`m unable to do that. She was on a Vodaphone contract.I removed my Pay-as-you-go sim card from my old Motarola and fitted it, everything fine, 8900 up and running. Everytime I edit a contact it creates a duplicate of the contact. Then when I go to delete the duplicate contact it occaisionally deletes both of them.

My PIN seems to have got out into the public domain and I have received 20+ PIN requests today from users who I do not know and have no intention of accepting. Some I have deleted, others I have ignored, but they are still coming through. I haven't published my PIN in any public forum (facebook for example) and only actually have about 12 BB messenger contacts so have no idea why this has happened. One has got through and I cannot delete the contact from my list (I have the pin so will happily provide it as I have no idea who it is) The names of the users seem to be odd characters and graphics. block new PIN requests (I have tried via the firewall but it hasn't stopped it) and how to delete the mysterious contact (as I write this a request has come through!)

My friends just sent me a message and I cannot click and read it. I cannot reply or do anything about the messages. Then I just delete the whole thing. That means I lost all msg from that friends in 6 months. Then the SMS thing works again. Then after a few messages in our txt conversation, the problem came back

View 10 Replies View RelatedI have a 5800 that I have been troubleshooting for the past Month. We have been to the provider who has now replaced the phone twice in the past two months. Calling out appears to be fine. However when customizing the phone I am unable to set picture and a ringtone to a contact in the contact list. The Contact is saved on the phone. When the person dials in the picture will display correctly but the ringtone will play a default ring not a custom file as selected. This has heppened on all 3 of the phones. I am down to the OS of the phone which the provider says is up to date.

I expect a create new profile screen to open, but nothing happens. 'Create new' option just exits the Options panel and does not open the create new profile screen.
We go to the email setup wizard and straight away it is asking for a username and password, we enter our email address for username and password of the email account for password, we click next and then it displays a message to enter the username, it keeps displaying this on both of our phones.
We have hotmail and yahoo accounts already setup on our phones, these were setup with no problems at all.
I am unable to create an email ID, or set up email accounts. Neither can I access blackberry apps This a PAYG blackberry for testing on the orange network. BBM is working as is the internet, but no emails or app world. Without this I cannot see the point of recommending Blackberry devices for roll out Is there a fix for this that has not yet been made available
