Jul 2, 2012Currently I have my personal email address as apple ID, this one has many apps etc. attached to it. I want to change this into a mail address both me and my wife use, as we both use this ID and associated apps on our iPads and iPhones.
I changed the email address in through appleid.apple.com into another one and verified it and this worked. Now I tried to Create a new apple ID with my personal email address and it failed.....
Message was that either it existed or that this mail address was already associated. How do I create a brand new apple ID with an email address previously used...

May 5, 2012my daughter and I have just got our new iPhones but I can´t create and Apple ID för her so she can´t use the ICloud service. So I tried using the one I created for myself resulting in that all my contacts apeared in her phone. What should we do?
Apple how about letting parents confirm the Apple ID for their kid but it should be created with the kids name and birthday how difficult can it be? am I the first mum who bought and Iphone for my kid?
And by the way how do we get access to all the old contacts stored on the SIM card from our preIPhone time? I thought that everything just work with Apple but I am beginning to think that I should have choosen and Android... I mean changing brand of phone doesn´t exactly mean that you want to cut contact with all your old friends..

The 3rd email account that I am trying to set-up is a Godaddy hosted account (1 of the other 2 accounts I have set-up successfully set-up is also with Godaddy - - it is an "Exchange" hosted account whereas the one I am having problems with is a "pop' account).
The steps I am following include:
Go to "Internet Mail Account" Click on "set up another email account" Click on "other" Enter my Email address and password, and hit "Continue"
The message returns saying that "your device had a problem connecting to the server"?
I have called Godaddy and they referenced particular port settings but I cannot find anywhere in the "set-up" menu that I can set the ports. They also recommended contacting BB...
After many, many tries on my BB device, checking and rechecking my account settings on Godaddy and my Outlook client settings...I just cannot get this to work.

Jul 2, 2012 I changed my apple id (email address) in itunes but when I got to update apps or do anything that requires my password it always pops up with my old apple id. I've 'signed out' of itunes store and then logged in again and does come up with my new apple id in the store but nothing else has changed on my iphone. I'm on full-service 4G LTE and have also tried just using perfectly fine wifi.
Noticed this a week or two ago and now I don't get toast notifications or live tile updates unless I turn off my phone and then upon restarting I get flooded with all of the notifications since my last turn off.

Aug 25, 2014I recently got a new email address because my old email address was deactivated. I am now unable to log on to that email address. I updated my Apple ID to my new apple id on my mac and it worked fine! However, when I got on my iPhone I was immediately instructed to enter my password to my old apple id on iCloud, and when I did it was denied. It will not let me log out of my old apple id without the password, and my password does not work for it now that I changed my email address. I have literally tried everything. I reset my phone, and was still prompted to enter the apple Id from my old email address, I even put my phone into recovery mode and reset it. However, after all of this it is still not working.
