Jun 4, 2014I just installed iOS 8 on my iPhone 5, and I had restored data from it to keep my old pictures. The iPhone kept the old Apple ID with iCloud. The problem is that last week I changed my Apple ID because my old email was hacked and I have no access to it anymore. The iPhone keeps asking me for the login every single time, and the password is not being accepted because that email has been completely removed from Apple. What can I do? I can still track the iPhone from icloud.com using the new email. If I click play sound it will play it.

Jun 2, 2012I just realized that when I made an account on Game Center, I typed in the wrong e-mail address and apple ID. Now when I go to try and change it, it says my Apple ID is already in use by another. I do not see how that is possible as my ID is unique to me (e-mail address) and I use it on Apple.com, iTunes, ect. and it works just fine. I changed my Apple ID when I got my iPhone. I also have an iPod touch, but the Game Center on my iPod was under a different email and old ID that I forgot about. I never used game center on my iPod except for a select few times.

IPhone Keep Entering In Apple ID Login When Opening Music?
Jun 27, 2014When I open my music app ( the apple music app) on my phone, it keeps asking me to enter in my Apple ID password. It's not an incorrect password. And it happens every time I open it. I opened my setting for iTunes and it has my Apple ID username and password logged in mad home sharing is On. It did not do this until I had to switch to a new phone due to itouch issues.

Mar 12, 2012My AppleID in the settings>iCloud tab of my iphone4 is incorrect. A box pops up to tell me that it is incorrect, and I can either edit or ignore. When I select 'edit' the account information pops up: AppleID, password, and description.
the problem is this: it will allow me to change the password and the description, but the appleID is in grey text and therefore unavailable for editing. UGH.
my appleID in the store is correct. my appleID settings are verified as correct on the myappleid part of the apple site.
Why won't it allow me to change it? I'd really like to get the cloud up & working!

Apr 4, 2012I think that apple should have a securitypassword when changing options on the icloud. Because if i were to steal and iphone all i have to do is go to the settings, go to icloud, and a simple swipe of the find my iphone and there is nothing they can do about it. I am posting this because i was worrying about my phone being stolen and i thought "oh well" i have the find my iphone turned on, and then it hit me, "how hard is it to turn that off" and answer is, no difficulty at all and i think apple should do something to fix that.

Somewhere I read that you can only change it once every 90 days. Is there any way around it. I used an old iTunes Apple ID, belonging to a family member. Now that they have their own iPhone, I need to change my phone to show MY new Apple ID for iCloud, not the family members. When they delete Contacts or do things, I am being affected. Is a complete restore my only option?

May 27, 2012I have struggled over this for days. I recently lost the internet provider on my old internet account which was my old Apple ID. I successfully changed my Apple ID in ITunes to a new permanent email address. I cannot change the settings on the App store or ICloud. The suggested solutions for this problem have not worked for me because there is no option for changing the old Apple ID. When you tap on it, it does not change. I have tried signing in with the Old Apple ID (the old email account) and it doesn't work either. I have synced my phone (and lost my contacts in the process but that was an entirely different headache!) to no avail.
Some of the solutions stated that I should go to the store and tap on the Apple ID and it would allow me to change...no such luck. Also when I tried Iforgot, it would only let me change my password which is not really any help because the problem is the Apple Id.

There are plenty of instructions out there, but they all vary to a certain degree, so I'd be grateful to hear from someone who has actually done it. Up to now I have been using an app called Smoothsync, but I've had many problems with it.
I think I'll have to go the Google way, but there are so many different instructions that I don't know which to follow, and the last thing I want to do is screw up my contacts database.
