I am trying to merge 2 apple ID's but I understand you can't do that. So I wanted to be able to access all my purchases in my iCloud. Is this possible with 2 apple ID'?. Going forward I will only use 1 of the apple ID's.

The situation is that my friend originally had a @me.com account before iCloud existed. This [URL]account is a work account setup by her employer especially for her. She has used and still uses this [URL] for her iCallendars and iDisk. [URL]But before iCloud was realease, she bought an iPhone which she then synced with her mac. And she had to create an Apple ID. So she created and apple ID with... [URL]She used this Apple ID to sync with her mac for itunes. How ever, iCal was still using the [URL] for her work. OK now, iCloud was realeased, and her Apple ID got moved up to iCloud. So her iCal on her iPhone is using the Apple ID callenders which have nothing.[URL] expired about a week ago and this @me.com account had to move up over to iCloud. So she now has 2 iCloud accounts! With no option to move [URL] to her current Apple ID.

I had an old account but had lost access to the email. In frustration I created a new account to use with iTunes on windows. Now history repeats itself and I've a new iPhone 4 that I want to load with data from both old and new accounts. Do I need to just go to the Genius bar next time I'm in town or is there some way to log into each account, back up the data and merge to the new account?

I have two children who have shared an Apple ID for the iPod Touches. The older is now getting an iPhone and is old enough to manage his own ID. My question is, if we set him up with a completely new Apple ID, will he be able to sync the phone with iTunes as a new device, even though iTunes currently syncs with his iPod? I guess what I'm asking is, can two different Apple ID's/devices sync with the same iTunes without messing up either device or getting the wrong information sync'd?

I recently bought an iphone and have been a previous ipod user. Apple will not allow me to transfer any music purchases that were not directly purchased from itunes themselves. Even though these are legitimate and legal purchases, it will only sync those purchased in itunes. How can I sync my entire library using my same account on my new device?

My AppleID in the settings>iCloud tab of my iphone4 is incorrect. A box pops up to tell me that it is incorrect, and I can either edit or ignore. When I select 'edit' the account information pops up: AppleID, password, and description.
the problem is this: it will allow me to change the password and the description, but the appleID is in grey text and therefore unavailable for editing. UGH.
my appleID in the store is correct. my appleID settings are verified as correct on the myappleid part of the apple site.
Why won't it allow me to change it? I'd really like to get the cloud up & working!

I think that apple should have a securitypassword when changing options on the icloud. Because if i were to steal and iphone all i have to do is go to the settings, go to icloud, and a simple swipe of the find my iphone and there is nothing they can do about it. I am posting this because i was worrying about my phone being stolen and i thought "oh well" i have the find my iphone turned on, and then it hit me, "how hard is it to turn that off" and answer is, no difficulty at all and i think apple should do something to fix that.

I want to change the iCloud Account Information under Settings on my iPhone4s. The "Apple ID" that shows up will not allow me change it. Somewhere I read that you can only change it once every 90 days. Is there any way around it. I used an old iTunes Apple ID, belonging to a family member. Now that they have their own iPhone, I need to change my phone to show MY new Apple ID for iCloud, not the family members. When they delete Contacts or do things, I am being affected. Is a complete restore my only option?

I changed email address for Apple ID and iCloud, as well as password. I validated on PC but on iPhone, it won't let me change the email address. I have struggled over this for days. I recently lost the internet provider on my old internet account which was my old Apple ID. I successfully changed my Apple ID in ITunes to a new permanent email address. I cannot change the settings on the App store or ICloud. The suggested solutions for this problem have not worked for me because there is no option for changing the old Apple ID. When you tap on it, it does not change. I have tried signing in with the Old Apple ID (the old email account) and it doesn't work either. I have synced my phone (and lost my contacts in the process but that was an entirely different headache!) to no avail.
Some of the solutions stated that I should go to the store and tap on the Apple ID and it would allow me to change...no such luck. Also when I tried Iforgot, it would only let me change my password which is not really any help because the problem is the Apple Id.

I have never tried in-app purchases so I am not even sure if what I am getting is normal or should it work.I downloaded an app and when I click on buy a window pops up and says " Checking Purchase request" then it just goes away and nothing happens. There are plenty of instructions out there, but they all vary to a certain degree, so I'd be grateful to hear from someone who has actually done it. Up to now I have been using an app called Smoothsync, but I've had many problems with it.
I think I'll have to go the Google way, but there are so many different instructions that I don't know which to follow, and the last thing I want to do is screw up my contacts database.

Prior to this I would sync my Blackberry with Outlook. Now that I have icloud installed, Outlook has another account, icloud.I understand I can only sync one Outlook account with my Blackberry, via the Blackberry desktop software. I've gone into the Organizer> Configure settings> Advanced, and try to map the folder associated with icloud. When I go to click on the expand box (plus sign), I get an error box that comes up:Runtime error Error Encountered. Error code 0x80043bea. Check documentationI have no way to now sync my blackberry with my other devices which are now sync'ed with Outlook via icloud.
