IPhone :: Apple Needs To Put A Security Key On The Icloud?
Apr 4, 2012
I think that apple should have a securitypassword when changing options on the icloud. Because if i were to steal and iphone all i have to do is go to the settings, go to icloud, and a simple swipe of the find my iphone and there is nothing they can do about it. I am posting this because i was worrying about my phone being stolen and i thought "oh well" i have the find my iphone turned on, and then it hit me, "how hard is it to turn that off" and answer is, no difficulty at all and i think apple should do something to fix that.
My Apple ID was disabled for more than 1 month and changing pw just not helping. It is very confusing to contact any of the supporting stuff. Can anyone just tell me how to fix activate my apple ID again? x 10000000 I think it may be related my credit card as I cancelled my old credit card due to security reason, but I did enter the new card's info for the same account.
when i tryed to change security questions it says :The Authentication Information provided does not match our records. Please verify your personal information and try again. how can i change it when i cant remember my ol answers but remember password ?
Every time I try to get an app from the Itunes store and I put in my password for Apple ID I get a message saying that my Apple ID password has been reset for security reasons. I have changed it multiple times and keep having the same problem the next time I sign in. My password seems to work on the computer but not with my iphone.
When trying to download any app I am asked for my apple id password and then its asking me for 3 questions with the answers. Is this genuine from apple?
I keep having the pop up message for security info everytime I try to dwnload apps, and when I answers all 3 questions nothing response and I tried so many times already?
My AppleID in the settings>iCloud tab of my iphone4 is incorrect. A box pops up to tell me that it is incorrect, and I can either edit or ignore. When I select 'edit' the account information pops up: AppleID, password, and description.
the problem is this: it will allow me to change the password and the description, but the appleID is in grey text and therefore unavailable for editing. UGH.
my appleID in the store is correct. my appleID settings are verified as correct on the myappleid part of the apple site.
Why won't it allow me to change it? I'd really like to get the cloud up & working!
My family of four currently shares one Appleid which is becoming a problem as we dont want to share contacts etc across our iphones. How do I switch the common apple id (that each of our phones is now using) so that each phone now has its own unique id?
We have an iPad with iCloud using Apple ID#1. I have a new iPhone that is synced with my Apple ID (#2). How do I get the calendar on the iPad to sync with my iPhone if they have different user IDs?
I am not able to sync with it as when I try to sink with my outlook 7 caqlendar, The new entriexs on the IPhoine disaper and do not sink over to my computer.
I want to change the iCloud Account Information under Settings on my iPhone4s. The "Apple ID" that shows up will not allow me change it. Somewhere I read that you can only change it once every 90 days. Is there any way around it. I used an old iTunes Apple ID, belonging to a family member. Now that they have their own iPhone, I need to change my phone to show MY new Apple ID for iCloud, not the family members. When they delete Contacts or do things, I am being affected. Is a complete restore my only option?
I am trying to merge 2 apple ID's but I understand you can't do that. So I wanted to be able to access all my purchases in my iCloud. Is this possible with 2 apple ID'?. Going forward I will only use 1 of the apple ID's.
I forgot my apple account and icloud from previous owner and i rest my phone and it said to active it i need previous owners apple id or iclound what should i do ?
I changed email address for Apple ID and iCloud, as well as password. I validated on PC but on iPhone, it won't let me change the email address. I went to Settings - iTunes& App Store, I was able to update Apple ID and password, but for iCloud, it will not let me change Apple ID, just the option for deleting the account with old email address. What can I do?
I have struggled over this for days. I recently lost the internet provider on my old internet account which was my old Apple ID. I successfully changed my Apple ID in ITunes to a new permanent email address. I cannot change the settings on the App store or ICloud. The suggested solutions for this problem have not worked for me because there is no option for changing the old Apple ID. When you tap on it, it does not change. I have tried signing in with the Old Apple ID (the old email account) and it doesn't work either. I have synced my phone (and lost my contacts in the process but that was an entirely different headache!) to no avail.
Some of the solutions stated that I should go to the store and tap on the Apple ID and it would allow me to change...no such luck. Also when I tried Iforgot, it would only let me change my password which is not really any help because the problem is the Apple Id.
I just recently bought an iPhone 4. After I erased all content and restored to factory default, It asked about an iCloud activation which was linked to the account of the former owner. I asked the owner about this if she could unlink this device from her apple ID but she forgot her old apple ID and the password. Is there some way I could unlink this to the previous Apple ID?
I visited the USA and bought an Apple iPhone 4 5.1.1, the latest model. I would like to unlock it and use in my country. How can I get it unlocked so the I can use my local micro sim card? What info about it do you need to assist me in unlocking it?
Info: MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.4), iPhone 4 5.1.1
